Abstract

본 발명은 적외선 터치 스캐닝 모듈에 관한 것으로서, 구체적으로는 펄스 형 적외선 송수신 방식으로 물체의 위치를 측정하여 초고속 물체 검지 기능 및 다점 좌표를 처리가 가능한 자동화기기에 사용되는 터치스크린의 좌표 스캐닝 장치에 관한 것이다. 터치스크린 입력장치에 사용되는 단위 입력 모듈에 있어서 본 발명에 의한 적외선 단위 모듈은 발신부, 수신부 및 카운트부를 포함한다. 발신부는 펄스형 적외선 신호를 전송한다. 수신부는 발신부로부터 전송되는 적외선 신호를 전송받아 기준접압 이상의 신호가 수신된 주파수대역에서만 일정신호를 발생시킨다. 카운트부는 상기 수신부로부터 출력되는 신호와 기준 클럭을 합산한 후 광의 상기 일정신호가 발생한 부분에서의 클럭 개수를 카운트한다. 본 발명은 종래에 터치스크린에 사용되는 발신 및 수신소자를 포함하는 단위 모듈보다 신속한 좌표의 산출이 용이하게 한다. 또한 단위 모듈군 개념을 도입하고 발신 신호를 교차적으로 이루어지도록 함으로써 전체적인 스캔속도를 향상시킬 수 있다.
