Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zur zerstörungsfreien Prüfung von Proben. Die Proben können dabei auch aus kritischen Werkstoffen gebildet sein, die ihre Eigenschaften während der Herstellung, beispielsweise bei einer Aushärtung oder Erstarrung, verändern. Bei einer erfindungsgemäßen Vorrichtung ist mindestens ein Ultraschalldruckwellenwandler (Tx) an einer Vorlaufzelle angeordnet. Die Vorlaufzelle ist mit einer Flüssigkeit befüllt und mit einer offenen Seite an einer Seite auf eine Fläche (A) eines Konversionsprismas aufgesetzt, das in Form eines Festkörpers, so dass die Flüssigkeit und die Fläche (A) in berührendem Kontakt stehen. Das Konversionsprisma ist mit einer weiteren Fläche (B) auf eine Oberfläche einer zu prüfenden Probe aufgesetzt. Mindestens ein Ultraschalldruckwellenwandler (Tx) ist an der Vorlaufzelle an mindestens zwei Positionen (T1, T2) so positionierbar oder so positioniert, dass die Positionen in einem gleichen Abstand zum Mittelpunkt der Fläche (A) des Konversionsprismas, die auf die Probe aufgesetzt ist, angeordnet sind.
