Description

Description
A REFRIGERATOR
[0001] The present invention relates to a refrigerator comprising a shelf the position of which in the body or door can be changed.
[0002] In refrigerators, shelves mounted to the door or body, whereon food and beverage containers are disposed, are used. While high containers are disposed on the shelf, one or more shelves above this shelf are required to be removed or replaced. When low containers are disposed, dead spaces remain between the said container and the shelf above. In the state of the art, foldable or telescopic shelf assemblies are used in order to create flexible usage volume providing containers of several sizes to be stored.
[0003] On the refrigerator door, on the inside of the door, shelves, which generally extend along the width of the door and which are arranged as one on the top of the other, are located. More than one shelf can be present side by side in one line and when high items such as bottle are disposed on the shelf below, one of the shelves arranged side by side can be slid on the other by means of a rail assembly, thus the volume, which is emptied by the shelf slid on the other, is taken advantage of. However, jamming can occur in telescopic, rail shelf assemblies and performing a sliding movement by one shelf on the other gets harder. Furthermore in such embodiments, movable part of the shelf generally remains unused and the item carrying capacity of the shelf is decreased.
[0004] In the Patent Document No CN101025325, a retractable and extendable bottle base is explained.
[0005] The aim of the present invention is the realization of a refrigerator comprising shelves whose position in the body or door can be changed and thus provide flexible usage possibilities to the user in disposing items.
