Abstract

Mechanical continuously variable transmission comprised of two machines, M1 and M2, that transform part of the mechanical energy to transmit between an input axis (i) and an output axis (o), whose transference of energy between them is made via a channel E. The M1 machine is connected between the input axis (i) and the output axis (o). The M2 machine is connected between the chassis of the machine and an alternative shaft (a). The selector S alternatively allows the connection of the alternative shaft (a) with one of the axes input (i) or output (o).
