Abstract

 水中に存在する不要な有機物を効率的に分解することにより水を浄化することができる水浄化装置及び水浄化方法を提供する。  浄化される水を一方向に流動させる流動槽と、該浄化される水が通過可能に前記流動槽内に設置され、光触媒機能を有する繊維からなる少なくとも一以上の平板状不織布と、該平板状不織布に紫外線を照射させる紫外線照射手段とを備えた水浄化装置であって、前記紫外線照射手段は、長手方向に延びる形状を有し、180~190nmと250~260nmとにピーク波長を有する紫外線を照射可能に構成され、前記長手方向と前記平板状不織布が平行となるように設置されていることを特徴とする。
