Abstract

　従来の復号回路を流用し、並列化の効率を低下させることなく、１ピクチャ内に依存関係がある符号化ピクチャを復号する。 　画像復号装置（１００）であって、符号化ピクチャが２分割されるように符号化ストリームを分割するストリーム分割部（１１０）と、２個の分割符号化ストリームをそれぞれ復号する復号処理部（１２０、１３０）とを備え、復号処理部（１２０、１３０）のそれぞれは、予め定められた順序で復号し、画素データと制御データとを含む復号データを生成する復号部（１２３、１３３）と、復号データが他の処理部で参照されるかを判定する転送判定部（１２４、１３４）と、他の処理部との間で復号データを転送するデータ転送部（１２５、１３５）と、参照される復号データが得られているかを判定する復号判定部（１２２、１３２）とを備え、復号部（１２３、１３３）は、復号データが得られている場合に分割符号化ストリームを復号する。
