Abstract

 発熱体ユニットにおいて、炭素系材料を主成分とする細長いシート状の発熱体(1)は、厚み方向において複数の層が互いに空隙を形成しながら積層されており、かつその積層された各層に流れる電流を制御する電流抑制手段(2)が形成されており、電流抑制手段(2)が発熱体(1)の厚み方向に刃物を押圧することにより切れ目を入れて形成されており、電流抑制部(2)を形成することにより発熱体(1)の長手方向に流れる電流を所望の値に制御することができる。
