Abstract

 一般式(1)で表されるピロメテン化合物を含有する発光素子材料により、発光効率が高く、色純度に優れた発光素子を可能にする発光素子材料およびこれを用いた発光素子を提供すること。 (R1~R4はそれぞれ同じでも異なっていてもよく、水素、アルキル基、シクロアルキル基、複素環基、アルケニル基、シクロアルケニル基、アルキニル基、アルコキシ基、アルキルチオ基、アリールエーテル基、アリールチオエーテル基、アリール基、ヘテロアリール基、ハロゲン、シアノ基、アミノ基、シリル基および隣接置換基との間に形成される環構造からなる群より選ばれる。Ar1~Ar5はアリール基を表す。ただし、Ar1≠Ar2またはAr3≠Ar4である。(ここで≠は、異なる構造の基であることを示す。))
