Abstract

 フェムト基地局の送信電力をできるだけ小さく抑えながら、フェムト基地局の設置場所と移動局の使用場所によらず、フェムト基地局に接続が許可された移動局に対して良好な通信品質を提供するため、フェムト基地局4は、マクロ基地局3から共通パイロット信号を受信して受信品質(例えば受信電力又は受信SIR)を測定し、当該受信品質に基づいて自身が送信するパイロット信号の送信電力Ptxを設定する。また、フェムト基地局4は、フェムトセル6内で共通パイロット信号の送信を送信電力Ptxで行うと共に、複数の移動局7-2~7-4との通信を行なう。さらに、フェムト基地局4は、フェムト基地局4から送信される共通パイロット信号の受信品質レベルの測定結果を移動局7-2~7-4から受信し、複数の受信品質レベルの中での最低レベルが予め定められた目標レベルに近づくように、共通パイロット信号の送信電力Ptxを再設定する。
