Beleuchtetes Gurtschloß für einen Fahrzeugsicherheitsgurt Illuminated belt buckle for a vehicle seat belt
Beschreibungdescription
Technisches Gebiet der ErfindungTechnical field of the invention
The invention relates to an illuminated belt buckle for a vehicle seat belt, comprising a housing, a locking mechanism disposed in the housing, an opening in the housing in which a push button and an insertion slot for a belt tongue is arranged, and a light source, the housing and / or assigned to the pushbutton.
Stand der TechnikState of the art
Geqenstand der ErfindungSuch a buckle is already known from DE 39 04 125 A1. In this buckle, an LED is provided, which is arranged outside the functional parts to be illuminated, wherein the connection between the LED and the intended light exit via a Lichtleitweg, which is composed of several material sections. The envisaged LED emits the light according to the design-enforced installation position, so that subsequently a correspondingly complicated to be designed Lichtleitweg must be provided to direct the light to the desired light exit point. Furthermore, the solution proposed there has the disadvantage that the power supply of the LED via electrical cables that run freely in the housing and thus also require a corresponding space or are subject to the risk of destruction due to mechanical stress. Current situation of the invention
Based on this prior art, the present invention seeks to provide a buckle with the cheapest possible lighting, the lighting should also be suitable for very flat buckles and should not require any change in the locking mechanism in the buckle.
The object of the invention is achieved by a buckle with the features of claim 1. Further advantageous developments are specified in the subclaims.
The invention will be explained in more detail below with reference to a preferred exemplary embodiment, wherein the figures show in detail:

Beschreibung bevorzugter AusführungsformenDescription of preferred embodiments
The housing half 5b is connected via the housing edge 10 with a housing half 5a described later, for example via a welded connection to a Gurtschloßgehäuse. In the wall of the housing half 5b is an electrical line in the form of a printed Lei terplatte or glued or injected as a ribbon cable 2, which is connected to an external line 3 for power supply from the outside, for example via a solder joint. The LEDs 1a and 1b are applied to the electrical line according to the SMD (Surface Mounted Device) technique or as CoB (Chip on Board) technology. The use of this particular form of LED's offers the advantage of very flat design construction, so that the measures provided in the lock locking mechanism need not be changed, and the LEDs can be positioned up to as close as possible to the intended light exit point. This considerably reduces the subsequently required optical fiber optics in parts and effort, which leads to a reduction in costs. Furthermore, the losses are reduced by the reduced length of the light guide path and the reduced number of transitions between the light guide elements, and overall the luminous efficacy is improved.
2, the other housing half 5a is shown, on which the light guides 9a and 9b are provided. It can be seen in FIG. 4 how the two housing halves 5 a and 5 b complement each other in the assembled state to form the housing 5. The light guide 9 is positioned in the housing half 5a in such a way that it comes to lie with its light entrance side over the recognizably flat LED 1 when both housing halves 5a and 5b are joined together. The light emitted by the LED 1 substantially perpendicular to the adjacent portion of the housing 5 is then received by the light guide 9 and guided to the intended light exit surface. The LED 1 has a base which is arranged parallel to the surface of the wall of the housing 5, which serves to attach them. This is a very flat-built type of arrangement of the LED is given, which allows positioning of the LED at any point of the housing without adjacent parts or the locking mechanism must be changed. The arranged in the housing locking mechanism 8 is shown only schematically for reasons of clarity. In Figure 3, the housing half 5a is shown in view of the push button 6. Between the pushbutton 6 and the edge of the housing half 5a of the insertion slot 7 is provided for the belt tongue. Thus, the insertion slot 7 is easily found by the user even in the dark, the ends of which are characterized by the light exit surfaces 4a and 4b. The user thus recognizes by the two luminous light exit surfaces 4a and 4b the insertion slot therebetween 7. Alternatively or additionally, may be provided parallel to the slot to the identification of the insertion slot 7 at its ends a light exit surface 4c, or even the push button itself with a light guide and a light exit surface be provided. After inserting and locking the belt tongue, an automatic control can be provided : by which the lighting is switched off automatically. Thus, the illumination also serves as a warning signal for an unlocked lock, and it is unnecessary energy consumption avoided.
