Abstract

 外側プレート部材および内側プレート部材を有するインジケーター機構を備えた穿刺デバイスが提供される。かかる穿刺デバイスでは、インジェクター・ハウジング内において、外側プレート部材と内側プレートとが相互に隣接して収容されている。ランセットアッセンブリが装填されていない状態では、ハウジングに設けられた窓部の設置位置に外側プレート部材および内側プレート部材が位置し、外側プレート部材が前記窓部から見えている。ランセットホルダーがインジェクター内部に挿入されると、かかるランセットホルダーに起因して、外側プレート部材が後方へと移動する。その結果、穿刺可能状態となるまでランセットホルダーが挿入されると、外側プレート部材が前記窓部の設置位置から後方へとずれた位置にまで移動することになり、内側プレート部材が前記窓部から見えるようになる。
