Abstract

 操作者による煩雑な操作を必要とすることなく、被検体の心拍数に応じてドップラ画像やMモード画像の掃引速度を自動的に最適化することができる超音波診断装置を提供する。体内組織に対して超音波ビームを送信する手段と、体内組織および血流から反射された超音波信号を受信する手段と、受信した超音波信号から体内組織の断層像を構築する手段と、血流により体内組織から反射された超音波ドップラ血流信号を位相検波する手段と、位相検波されたドップラ血流信号の周波数成分を算出する手段と、算出された周波数成分をドップラ画像として時系列的に掃引表示する手段とを備え、所定のタイミングで被検体の心拍数を計測する心拍数計測手段を有し、心拍数計測手段によって得られた心拍数に基づいて最適掃引速度を算出する最適掃引速度算出手段と、ドップラ画像およびMモード画像の少なくともいずれか一方の画像の掃引速度を設定する最適掃引速度設定手段とを備える。
