 アンテナ素子において、小型化と広帯域化の双方が実現可能とする。第1の導線部11Aと、第1の導線部11Aに交差して接続される第2の導線部11Bと、第2の導線部11Bに交差して接続される、第1の導線部11Aに平行な第3の導線部11Cと、第3の導線部11Cに交差して接続される第4の導線部11Dと、第1の導線部11A、第2の導線部11B、第3の導線部11C及び第4の導線部11Dの一つまたは二つに接続され、第1の導線部11A、第2の導線部11B、第3の導線部11C及び第4の導線部11Dのいずれか三つによって囲まれる領域に配設される第1の導体平板12と、を備える。また、第1の導体平板12の端部は、この第1の導体平板12に接続されていない第1の導体11Aに対して平行である。
