Abstract

 リチウムイオンを吸蔵・放出可能な活物質(A)及びバインダー(B)を含む二次電池用負極であって、活物質(A)が、石油系コークス及び石炭系コークスからなる群から選ばれる少なくとも1つを原料として得られた、平均粒子径1~30μm及び真密度1.90~2.00g/cm3の炭素系材料であることを特徴とするリチウム系二次電池用負極及びその用途、並びに、(a)石油系コークス及び石炭系コークスからなる群から選ばれる少なくとも1つを粉砕する工程、(b)粒度を調整する工程、及び(c)不活性ガス雰囲気下で900~1900°Cで熱処理を行う工程を含み、平均粒子径1~30μm及び真密度1.90~2.00g/cm3の炭素系負極活物質とすることを特徴とする炭素系負極活物質の製造方法である。
