  • the invention relates to an arching-ready support assembly in a bending and/or tempering compartment for glass panels, said support assembly comprising a number of link bodies, which are connected to each other with articulated axles, and control link mechanisms present between the link bodies, which control arching of the support assembly to a constant-radius curve.
  • This type of support assembly is known from the Applicant's patent publication EP-I 385 795. This support assembly has proved highly useful.
  • An object of the invention is to improve this support assembly further so as to enable the arching of even long support assemblies to a precisely constant-radius curvature by means of simple and inexpensive actuators without the link gaps becoming an adverse factor or even to enable using the link gaps for providing very slight intentional curvature deviations.

  • the link mechanism associated with each link body 9 includes three articulated arms 1, 2, 3, which couple each time three link bodies 9 with each other, such that the link bodies 9 are forced to pivot to a mutually equal extent, whereby the entire support assembly arches to a constant- radius curvature.
  • the disposition of articulation points for the articulated arms 1, 2, 3 has been described in more detail in patent publication EP-I 385 795 (Bl) and, hence, not discussed further in this specification.

Abstract

L'invention concerne un ensemble support prêt à incurver (5) dans un compartiment d'incurvation et/ou de trempe de panneaux de verre. Cet ensemble support comprend un certain nombre de corps de liaison (9), qui sont connectés entre eux par des axes articulés (9a). Entre les corps de liaison (9) des mécanismes de liaison de commande (un, deux, trois) commandent l'incurvation de l'ensemble support (5) selon une courbe de rayon constant. Une première section de l'ensemble support (5) est conçue pour être incurvée par un premier servomoteur (SM1) et une seconde section est conçue pour être incurvée par un second servomoteur (SM2).
