Definitions

  • Containers including urban and rural garbage collection, their collection vehicles and trailers, their transport vehicle to the treatment center and their maintenance.
  • the invention is particularly intended to make possible and particularly reduced cost, the collection of three separate simultaneous collection of household waste from the selective sorting of households.
  • This carriage moves vertically on rails 29 ending in the high position 31 by a curve for tilting and emptying the trash container 33 in the corresponding compartment and its return to the ground, by means of lateral displacement means of the rails 29, 31 of maneuver trash bins to the right of said corresponding compartment, said lateral displacement means consisting of an angle profile 795, on which moves hollow rollers (Figure 13) integral with the guide rails of the gripper carriage and in lower part, cylindrical rollers 958 ( Figure 14) moving on an H-shaped section 941 disposed laterally to the truck.
  • This dumpster has various disadvantages.
  • the rails 29 of the carriage 23 and the clamp 27 protrude largely from the vehicle template, which prohibits the circulation in France because of the legislation on vehicles. The clip can be dangerous for pedestrians or other vehicles.
  • the main disadvantage at the collection level is the plurality of selected garbage storage compartments. Once a compartment is full, even if the others are almost empty, it is necessary to empty the compartment to continue the collection, or to temporarily interrupt the collection of this type of waste, then multiplying the number of collection passages, which is very inefficient and has not been developed on the market.
  • Containers including garbage collection, their collection vehicles and trailers and their transport truck to treatment centers, according to the invention are intended to solve all of these problems at a much lower cost than that of the old sort mixed in one tour.
  • This object is achieved by separating the collection function of the transport function from the treatment centers by using an articulated self-propelled assembly circulating in an urban environment at a maximum speed of 25 km / h and running on less taxed domestic fuel than the diesel, carrying three containers each assigned to the collection of one of three of the four types of waste, two of them being collected alternately as needed. When one of the containers is full, it is deposited on a reserved place located on the collection circuit and it is replaced by an empty container. Thus collection vehicles are dedicated solely to collection. Each of the three parts of the self-propelled vehicle has its own means of loading / unloading the containers.
  • the selective seizure of garbage bins is performed by means of a crane assembly carrying a linear telescopic arm on each side, each ending with a vertical tube in which moves a carriage carrying a pivoting clamp self-centering on the tray.
  • the tank can be seized at any place facing the part of the self-propelled articulated corresponding to the nature of the waste contained in the tank and that at a distance of more than 2 meters.
  • the self-propelled is driven by a driver who remains permanently in his cabin, assisted by a rider whose task has been much lightened since it consists only in bringing the bins closer to the end of the gripping arm and checking that the bin contains the waste corresponding to its color, as well as to pick up any bags placed next to the bin and throw them into the hopper.
  • the ripper deals, in masked time (while the gripper grips the tray and will automatically dump it into the corresponding hopper and returns to the same place), other trays located in front of the other two specialized containers of the self-propelled and performs the same tasks. His fatigue is much reduced compared to the old practice and he can work 8 hours instead of 6 and is less exposed to the risk of accidents because it is no longer on public roads, but on the sidewalks. His work is valued, it is he who triggers the closing of the clamp and the start of the emptying cycle bins. Each part of the self-propelled vehicle has under the hopper in which the waste is dumped, a bucket in which a compactor pushes this waste into the container through a corresponding opening.
  • This rural collection vehicle has similar bodies to those of the self-propelled except that on the trailer the compactor operates double-acting, either to introduce the waste in the front container or in the rear container depending on the nature of the waste to collect.
  • Containers of glass objects do not use compactors. They have a front opening in the upper part and arranged symmetrically on the front, in which the telescopic arm comes to empty the glass trays from an automatic program, as on the self-propelled.
  • the transport vehicle from the containers to the treatment centers is constituted like the vehicle of rural cost, of a truck and a trailer equipped with the same articulated arms of loading / unloading, but it possesses moreover for each container two telescopic arms articulated emptying located on the other side of the truck and its trailer, in the same alignment as the loading arms.
  • These dump arms are intended, in cooperation with the loading arms, to simultaneously tilt the three containers in dump position when the vehicle is in line with the septic tanks or hoppers of selective emptying of the treatment center.
  • the vehicle When the containers are emptied, the vehicle goes to its washing station preferably located nearby and stops at a specific location, the right of three or four carriages carrying a set of fixed washing nozzles which are introduced into each of the containers and clean them in a single pass then perform a rinse by withdrawing.

Abstract

The invention relates to containers, to their collecting vehicles and trailers to their transport trucks and to their maintenance, characterised in that they each include loading/unloading means interacting with those fitted on their collecting vehicles and trucks for transporting them to a processing centre, wherein the collecting vehicles are provided for each of the three transported containers (3) with a hopper (4) interacting with a compactor (5) and a bridge crane (PT) having two telescopic linear vertical arms BTD and BTG each movable on the entire length of the corresponding portion of the collecting vehicles, said telescopic arms BTD and BTG each including a pivoting self-centring clamp P on the domestic waste containers. The vehicles for collecting in rural areas include a truck (140) equipped for loading a collecting container and a trailer (141) equipped for loading two collecting containers. The truck includes a hopper (4) and a compactor (5) as well as a bridge crane PT in which the shaft (151) of the telescopic arms BTD and BTG is longer than that of the self-propelled device. The trailer (141) is equipped with a dual effect compactor (146) used depending on the needs for loading the container (144) or the container (145). The trailer is equipped with a single bridge crane PT and with two right and left telescopic arms (150) covering alone the entire length of the trailer. The loading of the containers is carried out by articulated telescopic arms (147, 148) in which the telescopic portion is controlled by a hydraulic cylinder (155) while the arm is controlled by a rotary hydraulic cylinder (149).

Description

Containers including urban and rural garbage collection, their collection vehicles and trailers, their transport vehicle to the treatment center and their maintenance. The invention is particularly intended to make possible and particularly reduced cost, the collection of three separate simultaneous collection of household waste from the selective sorting of households.
With the constant increase in the production of waste, the obligation to recover household waste by recycling has led in particular to replace a mixed collection by a separate collection in several bins: newspapers / magazines, packaging and fermentable, and finally plastic materials ( bottles and packaging) and apart from glass objects. This separation collection entails the obligation to carry out as many tours as separate types of waste, that is to say four tours, which has multiplied the cost of the collection. In addition, the profession of a scavenger is dangerous, accidents are numerous on public roads, and pulmonary, gastrointestinal and cutaneous problems are frequent and directly related to daily exposure to biological agents or bio-aerosols. . An attempt was made to reduce their efforts by mechanizing the handling of garbage bins by means of a telescopic arm that unfolds to grab the bin, move it closer to the bin, raise it and tilt it into the hopper of the dumpster. . Unfortunately this mechanization is poorly suited to urban collection, its additional cost is not offset by an increase in the productivity of the collection. Also known is a US Patent No. 5,007,786 having a garbage truck equipped with a plurality of compartments each intended to receive a preselected fraction of household waste, equipped with a loading device consisting of a carriage 23 carrying a clamp articulated 27 gripping garbage bins 33 each carrying means for identifying its selected content. This carriage moves vertically on rails 29 ending in the high position 31 by a curve for tilting and emptying the trash container 33 in the corresponding compartment and its return to the ground, by means of lateral displacement means of the rails 29, 31 of maneuver trash bins to the right of said corresponding compartment, said lateral displacement means consisting of an angle profile 795, on which moves hollow rollers (Figure 13) integral with the guide rails of the gripper carriage and in lower part, cylindrical rollers 958 (Figure 14) moving on an H-shaped section 941 disposed laterally to the truck. This dumpster has various disadvantages. The rails 29 of the carriage 23 and the clamp 27 protrude largely from the vehicle template, which prohibits the circulation in France because of the legislation on vehicles. The clip can be dangerous for pedestrians or other vehicles. The main disadvantage at the collection level is the plurality of selected garbage storage compartments. Once a compartment is full, even if the others are almost empty, it is necessary to empty the compartment to continue the collection, or to temporarily interrupt the collection of this type of waste, then multiplying the number of collection passages, which is very inefficient and has not been developed on the market. Containers including garbage collection, their collection vehicles and trailers and their transport truck to treatment centers, according to the invention are intended to solve all of these problems at a much lower cost than that of the old sort mixed in one tour.
This object is achieved by separating the collection function of the transport function from the treatment centers by using an articulated self-propelled assembly circulating in an urban environment at a maximum speed of 25 km / h and running on less taxed domestic fuel than the diesel, carrying three containers each assigned to the collection of one of three of the four types of waste, two of them being collected alternately as needed. When one of the containers is full, it is deposited on a reserved place located on the collection circuit and it is replaced by an empty container. Thus collection vehicles are dedicated solely to collection. Each of the three parts of the self-propelled vehicle has its own means of loading / unloading the containers. The selective seizure of garbage bins is performed by means of a crane assembly carrying a linear telescopic arm on each side, each ending with a vertical tube in which moves a carriage carrying a pivoting clamp self-centering on the tray.
The tank can be seized at any place facing the part of the self-propelled articulated corresponding to the nature of the waste contained in the tank and that at a distance of more than 2 meters. The self-propelled is driven by a driver who remains permanently in his cabin, assisted by a rider whose task has been much lightened since it consists only in bringing the bins closer to the end of the gripping arm and checking that the bin contains the waste corresponding to its color, as well as to pick up any bags placed next to the bin and throw them into the hopper. The ripper deals, in masked time (while the gripper grips the tray and will automatically dump it into the corresponding hopper and returns to the same place), other trays located in front of the other two specialized containers of the self-propelled and performs the same tasks. Collection in rural areas, where the points of Collection is much more remote, is performed by a much faster vehicle consisting of a truck equipped to load a container and a trailer equipped to load two. The loading system consists of two articulated telescopic arms each driven by a rotary hydraulic cylinder, each having at their end a chain terminated by a hook that is manually attached to a corresponding fastener secured to the container. These two chains make it possible to refocus the container by gravity and to deposit it on two positioning stops integral with the carrying structure of the vehicle and its trailer. This rural collection vehicle has similar bodies to those of the self-propelled except that on the trailer the compactor operates double-acting, either to introduce the waste in the front container or in the rear container depending on the nature of the waste to collect.
Containers of glass objects do not use compactors. They have a front opening in the upper part and arranged symmetrically on the front, in which the telescopic arm comes to empty the glass trays from an automatic program, as on the self-propelled. The transport vehicle from the containers to the treatment centers is constituted like the vehicle of rural cost, of a truck and a trailer equipped with the same articulated arms of loading / unloading, but it possesses moreover for each container two telescopic arms articulated emptying located on the other side of the truck and its trailer, in the same alignment as the loading arms. These dump arms are intended, in cooperation with the loading arms, to simultaneously tilt the three containers in dump position when the vehicle is in line with the septic tanks or hoppers of selective emptying of the treatment center. When the containers are emptied, the vehicle goes to its washing station preferably located nearby and stops at a specific location, the right of three or four carriages carrying a set of fixed washing nozzles which are introduced into each of the containers and clean them in a single pass then perform a rinse by withdrawing.

Figures 1 and 2 show an example of one of the elements of the self-propelled articulated with its equipment; the three constituent elements comprising the same equipment which consists of a frame 1 provided with a telescopic tray 2 for loading / unloading containers 3 (already claimed in a previous patent of the inventors), a hopper 4 arranged above a compactor 5 and its functional members, a traveling crane PT moving over the entire length of the chassis 1 guided on a raceway and whose displacement is controlled by geared motor or a hydraulic motor M2 acting on a rack and pinion assembly; said bridge comprising two telescopic arms BT D and BTG moved by a geared motor or a hydraulic motor M4, the vertical part of each BT comprising a carriage 6 carrying a bearing 7 in which pivots a gripper pin P of the collection of full waste bins BP actuated by a rotary hydraulic cylinder VRl, the carriage 6 of the clamp P is actuated by a chain driven up and down by a hydraulic motor or the like M3. The clamp P can be arranged either on the right or on the left of the arms BT. Figure 2 shows the position of the BP container during emptying above the hopper 4 and in phantom Figure 1. The collection is normally carried out on the right side of the self-propelled, so with the telescopic arm BTD. During the operations of the BTD arm, the second arm BTG also moves flush with the self-propelled, the motor traffic side in the wide streets, which presents a danger for vehicles likely to graze the self-propelled during the movements of the arms. To overcome this drawback, it is sufficient to use a BTGF telescopic arm whose profile 44 (FIG 9) is mounted stationary at the rear of each of the three elements of the self-propelled, against the rear lateral upright and under the guide rails of the PT bridge (Fig. 1). This arm will be a little more running than the normal arm, but will move the same output race as the BTD arm to collect on the left, especially in narrow streets and one-way.
This container 3, with a volume of the order of 13 m 3 comprises, on its rear face, perpendicular to its longitudinal axis AA ', two wheels 10, 11 rotating freely on their axis; a cover 12, articulated at 13 on its rear face, covers it. It comprises, on its two short sides, a rectangular orifice 14 and 15 passage of the compactor. These holes are each closed by a lockable lid securely and easily removable before loading on self-propelled or rural collection vehicles. Its two feet 16 and 17 are arranged to each receive a metal centering fixed on integral inserts of the molded parts. These centralizers are intended to cooperate with corresponding centralizers fixed to the chassis of the vehicle. The decomposition into panels can be carried out for example in two side side panels 18, 19 and two half panels 20, 21, or a bottom 22, two sides 18, 19 and a front and rear panel 23 identical. For containers for collecting glass objects, the front panel has a loading opening 27 extending at 27 in the cover 28.
Figure 6 shows in section an example of assembly of the elements of the container. Each panel consists of two outer skins 30,31 between which is injected a dense foam 32 conferring its rigidity. The periphery of the panels is reduced by half in thickness over a width allowing assembly by means of screws arranged on each side of a seal.
The plate is deployed by two cylinders V3 and V4 (not shown) under the container while a small block 39 carrying a retractable hook, moved by a screw 40 driven in rotation by a small hydraulic motor 41, hangs a small fixed hoop under the container and pulls it on the plate which is then returned to abutment in the road position by the cylinders V3, V4 and V1, V2.
The PT crane consists of two sections of square steel sheet 44 each equipped with vertical guide rollers rolling inside two U-shaped profiles fixed longitudinally on each side of the top of the frame 1 and guide rollers lateral section rolling horizontally on the outside of these U-shaped sections. The two sections 44 are open below and retain two folded parts 45, 46 of equal width, on which bear rollers 47, 48 whose axis 49 is fixed on a tubular inner section 50 of rectangular section called telescopic arm right BTD for one and left telescopic arm BTG for the other. They are identical. The vertical guidance of this arm can be completed at the rear by two other rollers identical to the rollers 47, 48 but rolling on the top 51 of the bridge or by means of a sliding shoe 52. The lateral guidance is carried out at means of pads 53. The movement of the bridge over the entire top of the frame is performed by means of a rack and pinion assembly. A chain sprocket 55 is rotated by a hydraulic motor M4 fixed on a support 56 integral with the bridge. This pinion 55 meshes with a chain 57 comprising tabs fixed on the side of each arm BT and acting as a rack for retracting or extending the telescopic arm ending in a vertical post 58 as shown in FIG. 11.
The carriage 6 is actuated by a chain 60 meshing with a driving pinion 61 rotatably driving the hydraulic motor M3 and a second pinion 62 at the bottom of the post. Each BTD and BTG arm has its own movement control independent of the other. Figures 12 and 13 show the carriage 6 in cross section. It is guided in its vertical movement by rollers 65 rolling on the bottom 66 of a vertical arm BTD or BTG and rollers 67 rolling on both open front faces 68, 69. The chain 60 moving the carriage 6 is engaged on gears 61, 62, the lower gear 61 rotating freely on an axis 63 integral with the carriage. The chain 60 is secured to the carriage by means of at least one tooth 70 fixed on the carriage 6 by screws 71 (FIG 13). Step 7 in which pivots the axis 74 of the clamp, is fixed on the carriage 6, it comprises a flange 75 on which is fixed the rotary hydraulic cylinder VRl.
Figures 15 and 16 show in plan view and in elevation, an example of pivoting clamp self-centering on the waste bins. This clamp consists of two jaws 80, 81 each fixed on a ball bushing 82, 83 of square diameter, so anti-rotation, moving on an axis 84 of square section. The left end of this axis is cylindrical and is engaged in the bearing 7 of the gripper carriage. A block 85 is made integral with the axis 84 in the axis of symmetry YY 'of the clamp this block serves as a fixed stop with two compression springs 86, 87 pushing the bushings against a stop 88 fixed on the free end of the axis 84 and on a stop ring 89 made integral with the axis 84. The clamping of the jaws 80,81 is effected by means of a chain 90 fixed at one end 91 to the sleeve 82 and to the other end, clevis on the rod 92 of a hydraulic cylinder 93 hinged to the stop 89. This chain meshes with a pinion 94 freely rotating on an axis integral with the sleeve 83. When a full container BP is pushed between the jaws the collector activates the closing of the clamp and the automatic start of a dump cycle. The jack 93 pulls on the chain 90, when one of the jaw parts of the clamp meets the tray, it stops while the other continues its approach until contact and calibrated clamping. This tightening mode prevents the tray from tipping laterally.
Les figures 17 et 18 montrent en vue de dessus et en élévation, un exemple de variante de pince pivotante dont l'une des branches 81 de la pince est solidaire de l'axe 84, l'autre branche 80 venant serrer le bac contre la première sous l'action d'un vérin hydraulique 96 articulé sur une butée fixe 97 et tirant sur la branche mobile 80.FIGS. 17 and 18 show in plan view and in elevation, an example of a variant of a pivoting clamp, one of the branches 81 of the clamp being integral with the axis 84, the other branch 80 coming to grip the tray against the first under the action of a hydraulic cylinder 96 articulated on a fixed stop 97 and pulling on the movable arm 80.
Les repères des figures 19 et 20 ont été repris pour les organes identiques.FIGS. 19 and 20 show an example in elevation and in transverse section of a single compactor 5 whose U-shaped drawer 100 is engaged in the corresponding opening 101 of a collection container 3 by a hydraulic jack 102 mounted under the drawer, which is supported by two rails 103 disposed on each side of the drawer. This drawer is engaged on a bucket 104 in which the waste is dumped. The single compactor consists of a shield 105 moved by three hydraulic cylinders 106, 107, 108 together forming a waste thrust plane at the bottom of the drawer 109; they are articulated on a fixed base 110. A packing flap 111 hinged at 112, is tilted between a vertical position 113 and a horizontal position in which its rear portion 114 covers the top of the drawer forming a tunnel in which the shield 105 pushes the waste and can back down without bringing waste back into the drawer. The tilting shutter 90 ° tilt is performed by a rotary hydraulic cylinder 115. A hopper 116 guides the fall of waste BP tanks in the bucket. When the container is full, the drawer is removed and a hood is manually placed to close the opening 101 of the container before removing it to replace it with a full. Figures 21 and 22 show an example in elevation and in plan view of a double-acting compactor used on the trailer of the rural collection vehicles. This compactor is identical to that described in Figures 19 and 20 except that it works in both directions, loading the waste either into the front container or into the rear container according to the type of waste. For this, its base is no longer fixed, but replaced by a second shield 120 on which are fixed the joints of the three operating cylinders. One of the shields is immobilized while the other moves, by means of four levers 121, 122 at the top and 123, 124 at the bottom. These levers are articulated in pairs on the axes 125 and 126 of which they are made integral. Their ends each comprise a tooth 127 which penetrates into a corresponding notch 128 of one of the shields to immobilize it under the action of a hydraulic cylinder 129 pulling or pushing on the central articulation of two links 130, 131 which lock the four levers on the same side or the other side as needed. The packing flaps are identical to those of Figures 19 and 20. Two additional flaps 132, 133 ensure the selection of the discharge side of the waste, one remaining vertical while the other is inclined by a rotary hydraulic cylinder not shown. The drawers are each driven by a cylinder 134 to the front and 135 to the rear. The reference marks of FIGS. 19 and 20 have been taken up for identical members.
