Abstract

[PROBLEMS] To provide a folding method of air bag in which the clearance between seats can be occupied by an air bag, occupants or a baggage in the rear seat can be prevented from moving forward, and a crew seating in the front seat can be prevented from moving laterally upon occurrence of sudden deceleration of a vehicle in the progressing direction, and to provide a containing method of air bag and an air bag device. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] The air bag device has a body side air bag unit (8n) arranged on the near side of each seat (1d, 1p), and a seat side air bag unit (8f) arranged on the far side of each seat (1d, 1p). A body side air bag (9n) is partially folded by roll folding, and the remainder is folded toward an inflator (10n) by bellows folding, inner folding or combination thereof. A seat side air bag (9f) is folded toward an inflator (10f) by bellows folding, inner folding or combination thereof, and is housed.
