Abstract

Provided is a non-contact type navigation device, which makes higher the locating precision of a driver's vehicle. The navigation device guides the movement of the vehicle while receiving the supply of only a power source from the vehicle. The navigation device detects the acceleration of the vehicle, and detects the angle of inclination of a road surface on the basis of either GPS positioning data or the detection result of the acceleration sensor and the detection result of an angular velocity sensor. An offset component (at S611) contained in the acceleration data detected, a gain value in the acceleration data and a correction coefficient of the gain value are individually corrected on the basis of the road surface inclination angle, so that the guide is executed by using the acceleration data corrected.
