Abstract

 本発明者らはRSISを見いだし、RSISを標的遺伝子のプロモーターからmRNAの5’末端配列および終止コドン以降の3’UTRを含むターミネーター配列の間に連結することによって標的遺伝子の発現を抑制することができた。また、異なる遺伝子由来のプロモーターとターミネーターおよびそれぞれのmRNAの一部を用いることによって、プロモーターの働く細胞内で両遺伝子の発現を同時に抑制することができることも示した。
