Abstract

A seal device (21) with a sensor has a rotation side seal member (22) secured to a wheel-side raceway member (12) as a rotating member, a fixed side seal member (23) secured to a vehicle body-side raceway member (13) as a fixed member, and an elastic seal (26) as a sealing member for sealing the axial end surface of a rolling bearing. The rotation-side seal member (22) has a small diameter cylindrical part (22a), a large diameter cylindrical part (22b), the outer diameter of which is larger than that of the small diameter cylindrical part (22a), and a magnetized body (27) as a part to be detected held on the outer diameter surface of the small diameter cylindrical part (22a). The fixed-side seal member (23) has a sensor (28) as a detection part molded in a resin part (25), at a position facing the magnetized body (27). The outer diameter of the large diameter cylindrical part (22b) is larger than that of the magnetized body (27) held on the small diameter cylindrical part (22a).
