Abstract
電気脱イオン装置を用い、電気脱イオンによる純水製造と、イオン交換による純水製造とが実行される。陽極32と陰極31との間にイオン交換膜33’,34,33を配置することにより、濃縮室兼陰極室35、脱塩室37及び陽極側濃縮室40を設け、各室にイオン交換樹脂を充填してなる電気脱イオン装置を有する純水製造装置。通電を停止するかもしくは電流密度1000mA/dm2以下となるようにして通電制御した状態で濃縮室40に被処理水を通水し、該濃縮室40内のイオン交換樹脂38,39によってイオン交換して該濃縮室から純水を流出させる。
