[0011] 本発明は、 1の態様において、キク科植物の抽出物を含有する、発毛を促進するた めの飲食物に関するものである。本発明の飲食物に使用される植物抽出物は、セス キテルペンラタトン類を含む植物の抽出物であれば、植物の種類は特に制限はない 。セスキテルペンラタトンを多く含む植物の例としては、キク科植物が挙げられ、例え ばョモギ属の植物やタンポポなどが挙げられる。セスキテルペンラタトン類はキク科植 物に豊富に存在し、なかでもパルテノライドが豊富である。これまで、ョモギやナツシ ロギクなどのキク科植物の抽出物や、その成分であるノルテノライドが抗炎症作用な どの様々な生理作用を有することが報告されている。しかしながら、キク科植物、詳細 にはナツシロギクの抽出物およびセスキテルペンラタトン、詳細にはパルテノライドが 発毛促進作用を示すことはこれまで報告されて 、な 、。
[0012] 本明細書にぉ 、て、「発毛促進」 t 、う語は、脱毛症、抜け毛などの状態、その他の 発毛、育毛、養毛、増毛または毛再生、あるいは脱毛防止などを必要とする状態に おける発毛作用、育毛作用、養毛作用、増毛作用、脱毛防止作用および脱毛処置 などを意味する。
[0013] 本発明の飲食物に使用するキク科植物としては、セスキテルペンラタトン、特にパル テノライド含有量の高 、植物を用いることが好ま 、。そのような植物としてはョモギ 属の植物、特に好ましくはナツシロギク(Tanacetum parthenium) (フィーバーフューと もいう)が挙げられる。したがって、本発明に使用される特に好ましいキク科植物抽出 物はナツシロギクの抽出物である。ナツシロギクの植物体、特に葉には通常 0. 2〜0 . 9%程度のバルテノライドが含まれている。驚くべきことに、本発明において、キク科 植物の抽出物、特にナツシロギク抽出物およびその成分であるセスキテルペンラクト ン、詳細にはバルテノライドを患部に適用するのみならず、経口摂取した場合にも優
れた発毛促進作用が確認された。
[0014] キク科植物の抽出物は公知の方法により得ることができる。抽出部位は植物の地上 部であればいずれの部位でもよいが、好ましい抽出部位は葉である。植物をそのまま 溶媒に浸漬して抽出物を得てもよいが、破砕してから内容物を抽出するほうが抽出 効率が高い。植物は生のままでも、乾燥したものであってもよい。乾燥には、温風乾 燥、風乾などの公知の乾燥方法を用いることができる。植物の破砕手段は各種のも のが使用可能である。例えば、手もみ、ポッタ一-エルベージェムホモジナイザーなど のホモジナイザー、ワーリングブレンダーなどのブレンダー、ダイノーミルなどの破碎 器、フレンチプレス、乳鉢および乳棒、らいかい器、液体窒素による凍結および破砕 、超音波処理などの手段により植物を破砕することができる。植物の破砕物を適当な 媒体に懸濁し、内容物の抽出を行う。所望により、抽出時に撹拌してもよい。懸濁,抽 出媒体としては、水、エーテル、メタノール、エタノール、あるいはエタノールと水の混 合物などが挙げられる。懸濁媒体は、毒性の低いもの、あるいは無毒であるものが好 ましい。かかる観点から、水、エタノール、あるいはエタノールと水の混合物が特に好 ましい懸濁 ·抽出媒体として挙げられる。懸濁'抽出時の温度、圧力、時間などの抽 出条件は植物の種類、量などに応じて選択することができる。また、植物の地上部、 例えば、葉や茎などをそのまま、温風乾燥、風乾などの公知の乾燥方法により乾燥さ せ、粉砕することにより粉末化したものを、本発明の飲食物や医薬組成物に使用して ちょい。
[0015] 必要ならば、得られた抽出物を、デカンテーシヨン、ろ過、または遠心分離などに付 して固形分および粒子状物質を除去することができる。得られた抽出物を、公知方法 、例えばエバポレーシヨンなどにより濃縮してもよい。また、得られた抽出物を、公知 方法、例えば各種クロマトグラフィーや沈殿法などにより、さらに精製して用いてもよ い。
[0016] 本発明の飲食物に使用する植物抽出物は上記のようにして得ることができる力 ナ ッシロギク抽出物は巿販もされており、これを使用しても力まわない。これらの抽出物 は、使用形態や目的等に応じて種々の形態とすることができ、液体、半固体、粉末( 例えば凍結乾燥粉末等)などに調製することができる。
[0017] キク科植物抽出物、特にナツシロギク抽出物を種々の飲食物に配合して、本発明 の飲食物を得ることができる。これらのキク科植物抽出物は天然物由来のため毒性 が低ぐあるいは無毒であり、あらゆる飲食物に配合することができる。例えば、抽出 物をジュースゃノヽーブ系調味料などに配合してもよい。本発明の飲食物は、健康食 品、栄養機能食品、あるいは特定保健用食品(いわゆる「トクホ」)などにすることがで きる。
[0018] とりわけ、本発明の飲食物の好ましい形態として、サプリメントが挙げられる。サプリ メントの形状は、経口摂取可能な形状であればいずれの形状であってもよぐ例えば 、一般の食品の形状であってもよぐ錠剤、カプセル剤、顆粒、粉末 (例えば凍結乾 燥粉末等)、懸濁液、ドリンク剤、エリキシル、ドロップ、チユアブル形態、ゼリー状など の形状であってもよい。これらのサプリメントは、食品分野や製薬分野で用いられてい るプロセスに準じて製造することができる。例えば、錠剤形状のサプリメントを製造す る場合には、製薬分野で用いられている混合、乾燥、打錠等の一般的なプロセスを 用いることができる。また例えば、カプセル剤の形状の場合には、混合、カプセル封 入等の一般的なプロセスを用いることができる。ソフトカプセル、ハードカプセルも目 的に応じて適宜選択することができる。液体のサプリメントを製造するには水、ェタノ ール等の毒性の低 、媒体に抽出物を溶解な 、し懸濁することができる。粉末や顆粒 のサプリメントを製造するには、やはり通常の混合、乾燥、粉砕、ふるい分けなどのプ 口セスを用いることができる。サプリメントの製造に担体や賦形剤を用いる場合には、 その種類や量は製薬分野の慣習に準じて選択することができる。固体の担体または 賦形剤としては、例えばタルク、カルボキシメチルセルロース、ショ糖、小麦粉などが ある。液体の担体としては、例えば水、エタノール、食用油脂などがある。
[0019] 本発明の飲食物またはサプリメントには、上記のキク科植物抽出物に代えて、ある いはこれに加えて、セスキテルペンラタトン、好ましくはパルテノライドを配合してもよ い。バルテノライド粗精製品であってもよぐ精製品であってもよい。ノルテノライドは 、例えば、上記抽出物カゝら精製または単離したものであってもよい。パルテノライドは 化学合成品であってもよ 、。
[0020] 本発明の飲食物またはサプリメントは、若ハゲ、円形脱毛症などのあらゆる種類の
脱毛症、抜け毛、その他の発毛促進、育毛、養毛、増毛または毛再生、あるいは脱 毛防止を必要とする状態に対して効果がある。また、本発明の飲食物およびサブリメ ントは男女を問わず効果がある。
[0021] 1日あたりのキク科植物抽出物 (バルテノライド含量 0. 9% (w/w)の場合)の摂取 量は、抽出物に含有されるセスキテルペンラタトン類、特にパルテノライド量に依存す る。ナツシロギク抽出物であれば、成人(体重 70kg)の場合 1日あたり、 0. 05g〜50 g程度を摂取するのが一般的であり、 0. 15g〜15g程度を摂取するのが適当であり、 0. 5g〜3. Og程度を摂取するのがさらに適当である。また、パルテノライドを本発明 の飲食物またはサプリメントに用いる場合には、バルテノライド摂取量は、成人 (体重 70kg)の場合 1日あたり、 0. 45mg〜450mg程度を摂取するのが一般的であり、 1. 35mg〜135mg程度を摂取するのが適当であり、 4. 5mg〜27mg程度を摂取する のがさらに適当である。これらの摂取量は目的とする発毛促進効果ゃ該効果が所望 される部位などの条件に応じて増減されうる。また、これらの摂取量を 1日に 1回ない し複数回に分けて摂取することもできる。
[0022] 本発明の飲食物やサプリメント中には、キク科植物抽出物やパルテノライドのみなら ず 1種またはそれ以上の他の有効成分が混合されていてもよい。例えば、ビタミン E やその誘導体、ビタミン B群やその誘導体、 γ オリザノール、 β一力ロチン、ナイァ シン、大豆サポニン、ナツトウキナーゼ、フラボノイド、ジンゲロール、硫化ァリル、カプ サイシン、スコルジン、ルチン、 α リノレン酸、ケィヒ、塩化カルプ口-ゥム、酢酸トコ フエロールなどの血行促進物質、あるいはパントテン酸、ピオチン、ビタミン Α、ビタミ ンじ、ビタミン D、カルシウム、ローヤルゼリー、イノシトール、コェンザィム A、コェンザ ィム Q10、亜鉛、硫黄、セレン、コラーゲン、ゼラチン、メチォニン、 EPA、コンドロイ チン硫酸、イラクサ属、ォリーブ、海草エキス、ベニバナ、ローズマリー、スギナ、ノコ ギリヤシ、食物繊維、高麗人参、カテキンなどが本発明の飲食物やサプリメントに含ま れて!、てもよ!/、。経口的にさらにこれらの有効成分の摂取と本発明の飲食物の摂取 を併用してもよい。すでに脱毛症、抜け毛、その他の発毛促進、育毛、養毛、増毛ま たは毛再生、あるいは脱毛防止を必要とする状態に対する治療を受けている人が、 本発明の飲食物やサプリメントを摂取することにより、治療効果を促進することも可能
である。
[0023] 本発明は、もう 1つの態様において、キク科植物の抽出物を含有する、発毛を促進 するための医薬部外品を提供する。本発明の医薬部外品に用いるキク科植物の抽 出物に関しては上で説明したとおりである。医薬部外品の形態としては、化粧品の形 態が一般的である。具体的には、ローション、クリーム、リニメント、軟膏、スプレー、バ ーム、シャンプー、トニック、ジェノレ、ワックス、トリートメント、ノ ック、ヘアフォームなど の形態とすることができる。力かる医薬部外品を、頭皮などの発毛促進が所望される 部位に適用する。本発明の医薬部外品には、キク科植物の抽出物またはバルテノラ イドなどの有効成分の浸透を促進する成分、例えば、エタノール、グリセリン、キトフィ ルマー、パントテニールェチルエーテル、プロピレングリコール、グリチノレリチン酸な どのほか、慣用的な香料や着色料などを含んで 、てもよ 、。
[0024] 本発明の医薬部外品には、上記のキク科植物抽出物に代えて、あるいはこれにカロ えて、セスキテルペンラタトン、好ましくはパルテノライドを配合してもよい。バルテノラ イド粗精製品であってもよぐ精製品であってもよい。バルテノライドは、例えば、上記 抽出物から精製または単離したものであってもよい。ノルテノライドは化学合成品で あってもよい。

[0027] 本発明の医薬部外品中には、キク科植物抽出物やバルテノライドのみならず 1種ま たはそれ以上の他の有効成分が混合されていてもよい。例えば、センプリエキス、二 ンジンエキス、パントテン酸、ビォチン、ビタミン A、ビタミン B2、ビタミン B6、 EPA、ィ ノシトール、コェンザィム A、コェンザィム Q10、亜鉛、硫黄、セレン、コラーゲン、ゼラ チン、メチォニン、コンドロイチン硫酸、植物ステロール、イラクサ属、シラカンバ、スギ ナ、ノコギリヤシ、ベ-バナ、ユッカ、ラベンダー、ローズマリー、核酸、卵黄油、ロー ャルゼリー、ペンタデカン酸グリセリド、ミノキシジルなどの発毛促進物質、あるいはビ タミン Eおよびその誘導体、トウガラシエキス、ビタミン B群やその誘導体、 γ オリザ ノール、 β一力ロチン、ナイァシン、大豆サポニン、ナツトウキナーゼ、フラボノイド、ジ ンゲロール、硫ィ匕ァリル、カプサイシン、スコルジン、ルチン、 α リノレン酸、ケィヒ、 塩ィ匕カルプ口-ゥム、酢酸トコフエロールなどの血行促進物質、あるいは殺菌剤や保 湿剤などが本発明の医薬部外品に含まれていてもよい。さらにこれらの有効成分の 適用と本発明の医薬部外品の適用を併用してもよい。すでに脱毛症、抜け毛、その 他の発毛促進、育毛、養毛、増毛または毛再生、あるいは脱毛防止を必要とする状 態に対する治療を受けている人が、本発明の医薬部外品を適用することにより、治療 効果を促進することも可能である。

[0029] 本発明は、もう 1つの態様において、キク科植物の抽出物を含有する、発毛を促進 するための医薬組成物を提供する。本発明の医薬組成物に用 ヽるキク科植物の抽 出物に関しては上で説明したとおりである。本発明の医薬組成物を種々の剤形に処 方することができる。上述のように、キク科植物の抽出物、特にナツシロギク抽出物ま たはバルテノライドは、皮膚に適用する場合のみならず、経口投与した場合にも発毛 促進作用を有する。本発明の医薬組成物を皮膚に適用する場合はあらゆる部位に 適用可能である。

[0031] 本発明の医薬組成物を、塗布、噴霧などにより皮膚に適用する剤形とすることもで き、例えば、ローション、クリーム、軟膏、リ-メント、スプレー、バーム、シャンプー、ト ニック、ジエル、ワックス、トリートメント、ノ ック、ヘアフォームなどの剤形とすることがで きる。力かる皮膚適用剤形は公知の手段 ·方法により製造することができる。ローショ ン剤は、水またはエタノール等の水性担体にキク科植物抽出物またはパルテノライド を溶解または懸濁させることにより製造することができる。スプレー剤は、キク科植物 抽出物またはバルテノライドを溶解または懸濁した液体を公知の噴霧装置に充填す ることにより得ることができる。クリームおよび軟膏は、ワセリン、ノ《ラフィン、ラノリン、口 ゥ、その他の油脂などを基材として製造することができる。その他の皮膚適用剤形も 公知であり、公知方法にて製造することができる。これらの皮膚適用医薬組成物は、
香料や着色料などの慣用的な成分を含んでいてもよい。さらに、これらの皮膚適用医 薬組成物には、キク科植物抽出物またはバルテノライドのような有効成分の皮膚内部 への浸透を促進する物質、例えば、エタノール、グリセリン、キトフィルマー、パントテ ニールェチルエーテルなどを含んでいてもよい。さらに、本発明の医薬組成物は注 射あるいは輸液により投与することもできる。注射用製剤、輸液用製剤の製造方法は 公知であり、例えば、生理食塩水や蒸留水などの注射用の担体に有効成分を溶解 すること〖こより、これらの製剤を得ることがでさる。

[0035] 本発明の医薬組成物中には、キク科植物抽出物やパルテノライドのみならず 1種ま たはそれ以上の他の有効成分が混合されて!、てもよ!/、。経口投与医薬組成物の場 合には、例えば、ビタミン Eやその誘導体、ビタミン B群やその誘導体、 γ オリザノ ール、 β一力ロチン、ナイァシン、大豆サポニン、ナツトウキナーゼ、フラボノイド、ジン ゲロール、硫化ァリル、カプサイシン、スコルジン、ルチン、 α リノレン酸、ケィヒ、塩 化カルプ口-ゥム、酢酸トコフエロールなどの血行促進物質、あるいはセンブリエキス 、ニンジンエキス、パントテン酸、ビォチン、ビタミン Α、ビタミン Β2、ビタミン Β6、イノシ トール、コェンザィム Α、コェンザィム Q10、亜鉛、硫黄、セレン、コラーゲン、ゼラチ ン、メチォニン、コンドロイチン硫酸、植物ステローノレ、イラクサ属、シラカンバ、スギナ 、ノコギリヤシ、ベニパナ、ユッカ、ラベンダー、ローズマリー、核酸、卵黄油、ローャ ルゼリー、ビタミン C、ビタミン D、カルシウム、 EPA、ォリーブなどが含まれていてもよ い。皮膚適用医薬組成物の場合には、例えば、センプリエキス、ニンジンエキス、パ ントテニールェチルエーテル、塩化カルプ口-ゥム、ペンタデカン酸グリセリド、ミノキ シジルなどの発毛促進物質、あるいはビタミン Eおよびその誘導体、トウガラシエキス 、センブリエキス、セージエキス、アル-力エキス、ハマメリスエキスなどの血行促進物 質、あるいは殺菌剤や保湿剤などが含まれていてもよい。さらにこれらの有効成分の 投与または適用と本発明の医薬組成物の適用を併用してもよい。すでに脱毛症、抜 け毛、その他の発毛促進、育毛、養毛、増毛または毛再生、あるいは脱毛防止を必 要とする状態に対する治療を受けている人が、本発明の医薬組成物を適用すること により、治療効果を促進することも可能である。
[0036] 本発明は、さらなる態様において、キク科植物抽出物、好ましくはナツシロギク抽出
物、あるいはセスキテルペンラタトン、好ましくはパルテノライドを投与または摂食する ことを特徴とする、発毛促進方法を提供する。該方法において、例えば、ナツシロギ ク抽出物やバルテノライドは飲食物やサプリメントとして摂食されてもよぐ医薬部外 品として適用されてもよぐあるいは医薬組成物として投与または適用されてもよい。 該方法におけるキク科植物抽出物、好ましくはナツシロギク抽出物、あるいはバルテ ノライドの用量は上記のとおりである。該方法におけるキク科植物抽出物、好ましくは ナツシロギク抽出物、あるいはバルテノライドの典型的な投与方法は経口投与および 皮膚への塗布等であるが、これらの投与方法に限定されない。本発明の発毛促進方 法は、男女を問わず有効であり、ヒト以外の動物に対しても有効である。本発明の発 毛促進方法を、他の発毛促進方法と併用してもよい。
[0037] 本発明は、さらにもう 1つの態様において、発毛を促進するための飲食物、サブリメ ント、医薬部外品または医薬組成物の製造のためのキク科植物抽出物、好ましくは ナツシロギク抽出物、あるいはセスキテルペンラタトン、好ましくはノルテノライドの使 用を提供する。該使用におけるキク科植物抽出物、好ましくはナツシロギク抽出物、 あるいはパルテノライドの量は上記のとおりである。力かる使用において、他の発毛 促進物質を組み合わせて使用してもょ 、。
[0038] さらに、本発明のキク科植物抽出物、好ましくはナツシロギク抽出物、あるいはセス キテルペンラタトン、好ましくはバルテノライドを含む飲食物、医薬部外品および医薬 組成物、ならびに上記方法および使用は、ヒトのみならず、ヒト以外の動物にも適用 することができる。例えば、ィヌ、ネコのようなペット用、家畜用、獣医用としても使用す ることができる。したがって、本発明は、さらなる態様において、キク科植物の抽出物 を含有する、発毛を促進するための動物 (ヒト以外)用飼料または獣医用医薬組成物 ;キク科植物がナツシロギクである上記飼料または獣医用医薬組成物;ならびにパル テノライドを含有する、発毛を促進するための動物 (ヒト以外)用飼料または獣医用医 薬組成物を提供する。
[0039] 以下に実施例を示して本発明をさらに詳細かつ具体的に説明するが、実施例は本 発明を限定するものと解してはならない。
実施例 1
[0040] 経口投与試験
本試験では、マウスに経口投与した場合のパルテノライドおよびナツシロギク抽出 物の発毛促進作用を調べた。
[0041] 1.実験方法
7週齢、体重 20〜30gォスの C3HZHe Sicマウスを馴化させ、 8週齢で試験に用 いた。試験群は、バルテノライド投与群、ナツシロギク抽出物投与群、対照群とし、各 試験群に 6匹のマウスを用いた。 8週齢のマウスにエーテルで軽麻酔を施し、背部を 電気バリカン (THRIVE 6000AD、夏目製作所)で毛刈りし、その後電気シエーバ 一(5494、 BRAUN)で皮膚表面を傷つけないように除毛した。除毛した翌日より、 バルテノライド、ナツシロギク抽出物および対照を経口投与した。バルテノライド投与 群のマウスには、パルテノライド(Sigma社製(純度 90%以上)、ロット番号: 066K13 85)を 0. 5%メチルセルロース(400cP、和光純薬製)水溶液に 40mgZ 10mlとなる よう懸濁し、体重 lkgあたり 10mlを 1日 1回経口ゾンデ (マウス用、フチガミ器械店製) および注射筒(ImL容量、テルモ製)にて経口投与した。ナツシロギク抽出物投与群 のマウスには、ナツシロギク抽出物(HAND FINE CHEMICALS社製、バッチ番 号 609M907— 235、ノ レテノライド含有量約 0. 8% (wZw) )を 0. 5%メチルセル ロース(400cP、和光純薬製)水溶液に 888mgZl0mlとなるよう懸濁し、体重 lkgあ たり 10mlを 1日 1回経口ゾンデ (マウス用、フチガミ器械店製)および注射筒(ImL容 量、テルモ製)にて経口投与した。対照群のマウスには、 0. 5%メチルセルロース (4 00cP、和光純薬製)水溶液を、体重 lkgあたり 10mlを 1日 1回経口ゾンデ (マウス用 、フチガミ器械店製)および注射筒( ImL容量、テルモ製)にて経口投与した。投与 期間は 19日とし、その間、マウスに固形飼料 MF (オリエンタル酵母工業株式会社製 )およびフィルター濾過した水道水を自由に与えた。再生毛面積の測定のため、マウ スをエーテル軽麻酔下で不動化した後、デジタルカメラ(COOLPIX885、 Nikon)を 用いて被験物質投与より 2日毎に全例の写真を撮り、画像解析ソフト (Image Tool ver. 3. 00、 UTHSCSA)を用いて剃毛面積および再生毛面積を求め、剃毛面積 に対する再生毛面積の割合 (%)を算出した。剃毛面積に対する再生毛面積の割合 (%)は 1群あたり 6匹の平均値である。
[0042] 2.結果
結果を図 1 図 4に示す。バルテノライド投与群およびナツシロギク抽出物投与群 のすベてのマウスにおいて、対照を上回る毛の再生が見られた。これらの群において 、再生毛面積の増加パターンは類似しており、投与 15日目力 顕著な毛の再生が見 られた。投与 19日目には、大部分の毛が再生した。 19日間の投与により、赤変、腫 れ、体重低下、肝機能の異常あるいは異常行動などの副作用は認められな力つた。 実施例 2
[0043] 皮膚への塗布試験
本試験では、マウスの皮膚に塗布した場合のパルテノライドおよびナツシロギク抽 出物の発毛促進作用を調べた。
[0044] 1.実験方法
7週齢、体重 20〜30gォスの C3HZHe Sicマウスを馴化させ、 8週齢で試験に用 いた。試験群は、バルテノライド塗布群、ナツシロギク抽出物塗布群、対照群とし、各 試験群に 6匹のマウスを用いた。 8週齢のマウスにエーテルで軽麻酔を施し、背部を 電気バリカン (THRIVE 6000AD、夏目製作所)で毛刈りし、その後電気シエーバ 一(5494、 BRAUN)で皮膚表面を傷つけないように除毛した。除毛した翌日より、 バルテノライド、ナツシロギク抽出物および対照を剃毛した皮膚に直接塗布した。ノ ルテノライド塗布群のマウスには、パルテノライド(Sigma社製 (純度 90%以上)、ロッ ト番号: 066K1385)を 30%エタノール水溶液に 4mgZmlとなるよう懸濁し、注射筒 (lml容量、テルモ)を用いて 1匹あたり 0. 1mlを 1日 1回塗布した。ナツシロギク抽出 物投与群のマウスには、ナツシロギク抽出物(HAND FINE CHEMICALS社製 、 ノツチ番号 609M907— 235、パルテノライド含有量約 0. 8% (w/w) )を 30%ェ タノール水溶液に 1200mgZmlとなるよう懸濁し、注射筒(lml容量、テルモ)を用い て 1匹あたり 0. lmlを 1日 1回塗布した。対照群のマウスには、 30%エタノール水溶 液を、注射筒(lml容量、テルモ)を用いて 1匹あたり 0. lmlを 1日 1回塗布した。塗 布期間は 17日とし、その間、マウスに固形飼料 MF (オリエンタル酵母工業株式会社 製)およびフィルター濾過した水道水を自由に与えた。再生毛面積の測定のため、マ ウスをエーテル軽麻酔下で不動化した後、デジタルカメラ(COOLPIX885、 Nikon)
を用いて被験物質投与より 2日毎に全例の写真を撮り、画像解析ソフト (Image Too 1 ver. 3. 00、 UTHSCSA)を用いて剃毛面積および再生毛面積を求め、剃毛面 積に対する再生毛面積の割合 (%)を算出した。剃毛面積に対する再生毛面積の割 合(%)は 1群あたり 6匹の平均値である。
[0045] 2.結果
結果を図 5—図 8に示す。パルテノライド塗布群およびナツシロギク抽出物塗布群 のすベてのマウスにおいて、対照を上回る毛の再生が見られた。これらの群において 、ナツシロギク抽出物塗布群の再生毛面積の増加は 11日目力 認められ、パルテノ ライド塗布群(15日目力も効果が現れた)よりも早く効果が現れた。この結果は、ナツ シロギク抽出物投与群ではバルテノライド換算でバルテノライド投与群の約 2. 7倍の パルテノライドが投与されていたためと考えられる。いずれの群においても塗布 17日 目には、大部分の毛が再生し、ナツシロギク抽出物塗布群ではほぼ完全に毛が再生 した。 17日間の投与により、赤変、腫れ、熱感、発疹、体重低下、肝機能の異常ある いは異常行動などの副作用は認められなかった。
実施例 3
[0046] 経口投与によるヒト頭部毛髪の再生
ナツシロギク抽出物粉末(HAND FINE CHEMICALS社製、バッチ番号 609 M907— 235、ノ レテノライド含有量約 0. 8% (wZw) )をオブラートにくるみ、 24日 間にわたり、 1日 3回、 1回につき 2gを 64歳男性被験者に毎食後に服用させた。毛再 生の様子をデジタルカメラにて経時的に撮影した。図 9に示すように、被験者頭部に おいて経時的な毛再生あるいは発毛促進が確認された。この試験において、ナツシ ロギク抽出物服用による不快感、腫れ、体重低下、肝機能の異常その他の副作用は 確認されなかった。
[0047] 上記ナツシロギク抽出物を 4週間にわたり、 1日 1回、 1回につき 2gを食後に服用し た 60歳男性および 36歳男性においても、毛再生あるいは発毛促進効果が認められ た。

パルテノライド 250mg
(Sigma社製(純度 90%以上)、ロット番号: 066K1385)
30%エタノール水溶液 62. 5ml
ノ ルテノライドを乳鉢と乳棒ですりつぶし、すりつぶしたパルテノライドに 30%ェタノ ール水溶液を徐々に添カ卩して均一な溶液を得ることによりローションとした。これに慣 用的な香料等を添加してもよ ヽ。

ナツシロギク抽出物粉末 84g

30%エタノーノレ水溶液 70ml
ナツシロギク抽出物粉末を乳鉢と乳棒ですりつぶし、すりつぶしたナツシロギク抽出 物粉末に 30%エタノール水溶液を徐々に添カ卩して均一な溶液を得ることによりロー シヨンとした。これに慣用的な香料等を添加してもよ!/、。

ワセリン 250mg
