Abstract
The invention relates to a device for constructing a modular swimming pool, characterized in that it is made up from at least one element called bottom element (11) intended to receive the bottom of the swimming pool, from prefabricated panels (12) moulded in a polynorbornene resin obtained by the polymerization of dicyclopentadiene, each panel having a wall called useful wall (121), a wall called rear wall (123) and lateral edges (222), from sealing means (14), for sealing between the panels (12) and the bottom element (11), and from means (13) for fastening the panels (12) together in an adjacent manner, the panels (12) being such that the useful wall (121) is intended to form a vertical part of the swimming pool intended to be placed into in contact with the water. The invention furthermore provides sealing means suitable for the use of such polynorbornene resin panels, said means being in the form of a material (53, 63) inserted into part of the useful wall (121) intended to be submerged and intended to be welded or bonded to the bottom element (11).
