Definitions
- the invention relates to packaging machine construction and there a bagging machine for packaging purposes, in particular a vertical bagging machine and a horizontal bagging machine.
- a vertical tubular bag machine with a withdrawn from a supply roll by means of a deduction sheet is known.
- a forming shoulder is used for forming the film web.
- a longitudinal sealing device is provided for welding the longitudinal edges of the film web and for producing a longitudinal seam of the film tube.

- a mechanism is provided for holding the sealing jaws and a drive for moving the transverse sealing device to move the sealing jaws relative to each other.
- the transverse sealing device to move up and down to allow rapid transverse welding of a continuously moving film tube has in the known vertical bagging machine, the drive two linear motors, of which the first linear motor for a movement of the transverse sealing device in a first direction (the vertical) is provided, and the second linear motor for exerting a movement in a second direction (the horizontal) is used to move a sealing jaw in this direction, or both sealing jaws via a transmission to induce an opposite movement.
- the linear motors are connected to each other via a connection, and each linear motor consists of a primary part and a secondary part. Transmissions for producing an opposing sealing jaw movement are known in great variety.
- the known bag machine with a linear motor has the disadvantage that during operation of the motor, the secondary part, which has magnets, heats and expands. As a result, the holder which holds the secondary part and with which the secondary part is firmly connected, curves. This in turn leads to a stiffness and associated with a relatively short life of the drive.
- the secondary part consists of a series of juxtaposed, separate secondary part segments, wherein the secondary part segments are each connected by means of a fastening with a holder of the secondary part.
- the proposed innovation has the advantage that, in the case of different expanding components as a result of heating the with Magnet equipped secondary part does not come to a distortion or deformation of the holder. Since the secondary part is warmer than the holder supporting it, the secondary part has a greater thermal expansion than the holder, provided that the materials of the secondary part and the holder are the same or the secondary part has a greater coefficient of linear expansion than the holder. Solely by a loose juxtaposition of the secondary segment segments it is allowed to press against each other after a thermal expansion to shoot the sum of all gaps between them, which occur solely for assembly reasons, and to compensate for a total of a greater linear expansion. There is thus no curvature of the holder, which also usually expands less strongly, since it is not as warm as the secondary segment segments.
- Another advantage of the proposed innovation is that the heat development of the secondary part is permitted. A technical effort to dissipate the heat is avoided. Nevertheless, a long life of the components, whose leadership depends on a location-specific holder, achieved because it is not warped, and thus no stiffness of the moving components occurs. In addition, the welds are created reproducibly and evenly.

- a screwing by means of a single screw for a group which is bounded laterally, two screws next to each other or a single narrow glue track transverse to the longitudinal extent of the secondary part is advantageous. This allows a free expansion of the secondary part segment without the holder being curved thereby.
- the primary part has current-carrying coils on. His warming is especially strong. However, it can expand freely because it sits on a guide and is movable there.
- each secondary segment is connected via its own bottom part or a separate housing with the holder (claim 5). Then the material of the bottom part or of the housing and an intervening gap for the mentioned length expansions are relevant.
- the bottom parts or the housing at room temperature tight or forming a gap to each other, and the material of the bottom parts or the housing has a smaller, in particular significantly lower coefficient of linear expansion than the material of the holder, so the holder warps also not with heating of the secondary part and heating by heat conduction to the holder.
- the holder expands at a done by operation of the secondary part heating by a significantly greater difference in length than the secondary part.

In this case, a forming shoulder is used for forming the film web. A longitudinal sealing device is provided for welding the longitudinal edges of the film web and for producing a longitudinal seam of the film tube. BESTÄT8GUNGSKGRE
In order to open and close the transverse sealing device on the one hand very quickly and on the other hand, the transverse sealing device to move up and down to allow rapid transverse welding of a continuously moving film tube has in the known vertical bagging machine, the drive two linear motors, of which the first linear motor for a movement of the transverse sealing device in a first direction (the vertical) is provided, and the second linear motor for exerting a movement in a second direction (the horizontal) is used to move a sealing jaw in this direction, or both sealing jaws via a transmission to induce an opposite movement. The linear motors are connected to each other via a connection, and each linear motor consists of a primary part and a secondary part. Transmissions for producing an opposing sealing jaw movement are known in great variety.
The known bag machine with a linear motor has the disadvantage that during operation of the motor, the secondary part, which has magnets, heats and expands. As a result, the holder which holds the secondary part and with which the secondary part is firmly connected, curves. This in turn leads to a stiffness and associated with a relatively short life of the drive.
It is the object of the invention to eliminate this disadvantage in a bag machine according to the preamble of claim 1.
The object is achieved according to the characterizing part of claim 1. Thereafter, the secondary part consists of a series of juxtaposed, separate secondary part segments, wherein the secondary part segments are each connected by means of a fastening with a holder of the secondary part.
The proposed innovation has the advantage that, in the case of different expanding components as a result of heating the with Magnet equipped secondary part does not come to a distortion or deformation of the holder.
Another advantage of the proposed innovation is that the heat development of the secondary part is permitted. A technical effort to dissipate the heat is avoided. Nevertheless, a long life of the components, whose leadership depends on a location-specific holder, achieved because it is not warped, and thus no stiffness of the moving components occurs. In addition, the welds are created reproducibly and evenly.
The term secondary segment is to be understood as meaning a plurality of magnets in a unit or in each case a single magnet. For assembly reasons, it is advantageous not individually to connect the magnets with the bracket, but in each case a group of magnets with the bracket to screw or glue. A screwing by means of a single screw for a group which is bounded laterally, two screws next to each other or a single narrow glue track transverse to the longitudinal extent of the secondary part is advantageous. This allows a free expansion of the secondary part segment without the holder being curved thereby. The primary part has current-carrying coils on. His warming is especially strong. However, it can expand freely because it sits on a guide and is movable there.
Advantageous embodiments of the proposed bag machine are described in claims 2 to 8.
Uniform welds are produced relatively quickly when the bag machine is designed as a vertical bagging machine (claim 2) or as a horizontal bag machine (claim 3).
For a holder which is moved, in particular light and stable materials such as aluminum or magnesium (claim 4) are advantageous.
For assembly reasons, it makes sense that each secondary segment is connected via its own bottom part or a separate housing with the holder (claim 5). Then the material of the bottom part or of the housing and an intervening gap for the mentioned length expansions are relevant. When mounting a conventional screw with the usual inaccuracies in four screws in the four corners of the secondary segment segments is sufficient. Lying according to claim 6, the bottom parts or the housing at room temperature tight or forming a gap to each other, and the material of the bottom parts or the housing has a smaller, in particular significantly lower coefficient of linear expansion than the material of the holder, so the holder warps also not with heating of the secondary part and heating by heat conduction to the holder. By significantly lower is to be understood that the holder expands at a done by operation of the secondary part heating by a significantly greater difference in length than the secondary part. Is provided as the material of the floor parts or the housing steel and as a material of the holder aluminum (claim 7), it is achieved on the one hand that the holder is relatively light and therefore is movable without much energy, and on the other hand, that with one larger coefficient of linear expansion expands than the abutments. A curvature of the holder does not occur in such a way. As a rule, no gap must be provided between the secondary parts.
Schließlich kann die Längenausdehnung bei Erwärmung gänzlich nicht beachtet werden, wenn gemäß Anspruch 8 die Bodenteile bzw. dieFinally, the length expansion can be completely disregarded when heated, if according to claim 8, the bottom parts or the
Housing at room temperature in each case abut each other to form a gap. For those commonly used in mechanical engineering, such as steel, aluminum and magnesium, gaps with a width of about 10 micrometers are generally sufficient.

Figure 10 in a side view in another embodiment, a horizontal bag machine whose mutually movable transverse sealing jaws and longitudinal sealing jaws are driven by means of a linear motor with separate secondary segment segments.
In a vertical tubular bag machine 1 with a withdrawn from a supply roll 2 by means of a trigger 3 to a Umlenkrol- Ie 38 deflected film web 4, serves a forming shoulder 5 for forming the film web 4 to a film tube 6 and a format tube 7 for receiving and filling the film tube 6 (Figure 1). A longitudinal sealing device 8 is provided for welding the longitudinal edges of the film web 4 and for producing a longitudinal seam 9 of the film tube 6. A transverse sealing device 10 with two mutually movable sealing jaws 1 1, 12 is used to produce transverse seams 13 on the film tube 6 and a separator 14 for separating the generated tubular bag 15 from the film tube 6. A mechanism connected to a fastening 39 16 holds the sealing jaws 1 1, 12th (Figures 2 to 8). By means of a drive 17, the transverse sealing device 10 is opened and closed and moved up and down to produce two transverse seams 13 simultaneously and along with the continuously moving down film tube 6. During this welding process, the sealing jaws 1 1, 12 are closed. Subsequently, they are separated from each other and the transverse sealing device 10 is moved up to start at a distance of a bag length again a welding of transverse seams 13 in the compressed film tube 6.
δA drive 17 for moving the transverse yaw device 10 has two linear motors 18, 19. The first linear motor 18 is provided for movement of the transverse sealing device 10 in the vertical 20. The second linear motor 19 serves to exert a movement in the horizontal 21 in order to move the sealing jaws 1 1, 12 in this direction in opposite directions. In this case, both sealing jaws 1 1, 12 caused by a known conventional transmission 22 to an opposite movement, when a primary part 26 of the second linear motor 19 is reciprocated. The linear motors 18, 19 are connected to one another via a cross 23 serving as a holder 53. Each linear motor 18, 19 consists of a primary part 24, 26 and a secondary part 25, 27. The two bars 28, 29 of the cross 23 are arranged transversely to one another. On the two opposite sides of the holder 53 δ
In each case, a secondary part 25, 27 of a linear motor 18, 19 attached to a different beam 28, 29. In addition, a guide 30, 31 parallel to a beam 28, 29 is provided on the opposite sides. A primary part 24 of the first linear motor 18 is fixed to a stationary holder 32. The secondary part 25 of this linear motor 18 is mounted on one side of the cross 23. A secondary part 27 of the other linear motor 19 is mounted on the other side of the cross 23. The primary part 26 of the second linear motor 19 is movable relative to this secondary part 27 and connected to the transverse sealing device 10 in order to open and close it. At the primary parts 24, 26, which are not attached to the cross 23, each jwewewe four wagons 33 for moving the primary parts 24, 26 along the guides 30, 31 are provided.
The secondaries 25, 27 are connected to the cross 23 to stabilize it. The cross 23 and the guides 30, 31 are made of a single piece of aluminum, each guide 30, 31 consists of two mutually parallel rails 34, 35. The cross 23 has on the opposite sides in each case a material recess 36 with a limiting edge 37 on this. The secondary parts 25, 27 extend over the beams 28, 29 and are each glued between two rails in a material recess 36.
While the primary part 24 of the first linear motor 18 moves the cross 23 and with it the transverse sealing device 10 up and down, the second linear motor 19 opens and closes by a reciprocation of its primary part 26 relative to its secondary part 27 and thus to the cross Cross-sealing device 10. The secondary parts 25, 27 are hardly heated in contrast to the primary parts 24, 26, so that the cross 23 does not experience the accuracy of movement of the sealing jaws 11, 12 longitudinal extent as a result of excessive heating. The two secondary parts 25, 27 of the support 53, which is designed as a cross 23, consist of a series of separate secondary part segments 40 arranged next to each other. The secondary part segments 40 are connected to the cross 23 by means of three fastening means 41 designed as screws. Each secondary segment 40 is connected to the cross 23 via a bottom part of a housing 42. The bottom parts, and thus also the housings 42, are close to each other at room temperature, ie in the case of linear motors 18, 19 which are not yet in operation (FIG. 6). The material of the housing 42 together with respective bottom part is steel. This has a lower coefficient of linear expansion than the material of the cross 23, which is aluminum. Thus, until a respective operating temperature of the linear motors 18, 19 is reached by heat release of the magnets 44, the cross 23 expands more to form gaps 43 than the secondary parts 25, 27 (FIGS. 7 and 8). As a result, the holder 53 equipped with the secondary parts 25, 27 does not warp, so that the guides 30, 31 remain exactly aligned. As a result, the sealing jaws 1 1, 12 are moved exactly and each similar transverse seams 13 generated as a result of a similar welding pressure on the film tube 6.
In the embodiment of FIG. 9, two linear motors 18, 19 are also used to move a transverse sealing device 10 of a vertical tubular bag machine. Also, in each case the secondary part 25, 27 of the linear motors 18, 19 of a series juxtaposed, separate secondary segment 40, wherein the secondary part 40 segments in each case by means of a designed as a central adhesive trace attachment 41 with a holder 53 of the secondary part 25, 27 are connected. Each adhesive track extends transversely to the extension of a secondary segment 40 and is only about 10 mm wide to allow the secondary segment 40 a smaller extent than the holder 53 made of magnesium. Each glue track fulfills the function of the screws shown in the first embodiment as a fastening 41 on the holder 53. As in the previous embodiment For example, each secondary segment 40 contains a plurality of magnets and is surrounded by a housing 42, so that the secondary segment segments 40 can be assembled in a simple manner into secondary parts 25, 27. The function of the column 43 is analogous to the first exemplary embodiment, as is the function of the guides 30, 31 for the primary parts 24, 26.
While provided for the horizontal movement linear motor 19 is seated on a frame 45 which is movable by means of recesses 55 along guides 54 up and down, provided for the vertical movement linear motor 18 serves, by means of its primary part 24 and a plate attached thereto 46 to move the frame 45 in the direction of the vertical 20.
In the embodiment of FIG. 10, the bag machine is designed as an otherwise conventional horizontal bag machine 50. In this, a film web 4 is provided with a central fold 48 and moved by means of a trigger 3 in a horizontal direction of film transport 47. The sealing jaws 1 1, 12 are actuated by means of a stationary linear motor 19 as in the previous embodiments to produce transverse seams 13. The same applies to the two mutually movable longitudinal sealing jaws 51 for the head-side welding (longitudinal seam 9) of the bag 52 filled by means of a filling nozzle 49 and separated from the film web 4 by means of a separating device 14. The longitudinal sealing jaws 51 are also welded stationary by means of a linear motor 19, wherein a likewise composed of separate secondary segment 40 secondary securement 27 serves to achieve a smooth, location-accurate operation of the primary part 26 of the linear motor 19 along a holder 53 of the secondary part 27.
