Abstract

The invention relates to a circular flash lamp (1) to be mounted on a camera by means of a connection socket (7) as an external flash lamp in order to obtain a soft circular lighting with said flash lamp. A power supply insert (5) is located in the upper part of the flash lamp (1), which contains the high voltage A. C. power supply, said insert being provided with a support arm (6), which extends into the central part of the flash lamp (1) and ends in the replaceable connection socket (7) for universal mounting. The light source (8) comprises at least three high voltage flash tubes, which are arranged in a symmetrical and circular manner between the diffuser (4) and the back wall (3) of the flash lamp (1).
