一般にマクロ撮影は、レンズ先端から十数cm程のワーキングディスタンスしかなく、自然光のみでの照明が難しいため、図3で示すようなマクロリングフラッシュを使用することが多い。すなわち、制御部2と発光部3間をカールコード4で接続したマクロリングフラッシュ10はカメラ1のレンズ先端に装着されており、該発光部3には撮影用の閃光発光管6,7とその間にピント合わせ用に照明装置8,9が上下に配設され、発光部3の前面を拡散板15で覆っている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
ところで、前述従来例では、図4の断面図に示すように、マクロリングフラッシュのピント合わせ用照明装置8,9のそれぞれの光軸13,14は一般的にマクロレンズ11の光軸12と平行に設定されている。そして、同図において破線範囲は照明装置8,9の照明ランプの照射範囲を示しているが、高倍率撮影のときはワーキングディスタンスが少なくなり、ハッチングで示した部分では十分に光が回らない。さらに、高倍率撮影の際は、レンズの実効FNo.も低下してしまうため、ますますピント合わせがやりにくくなっている。

請求項1に示す本発明はレンズに装着可能なマクロフラッシュがカメラのピント合わせ用の照明装置を複数個有し、該照明装置の光軸が該レンズの光軸に対して傾いているマクロフラッシュの照明装置において、該複数の照明装置の光軸は該レンズの光軸に対してそれぞれ異なる角度を有して傾いていることにより、マクロレンズのワーキングディスタンスに適した位置に迅速に合うようになり、マクロ撮影の際のピント合わせがやりやすい範囲を格段に広くすることができる
請求項2に示す本発明は該複数の照明装置が照明ランプと集光部材とから構成されていることにより、マクロレンズのワーキングディスタンスに適した位置に集光させ、マクロ撮影の際のピント合わせがやりやすくなる。

また、請求項2に示す本発明は該複数の照明装置が照明ランプと集光部材とから構成されていることにより、被写体を特に明るく照明できるので、マクロ撮影の際のピント合わせがやりやすくなる。
