REVENDICATIONS

Console centrale (10) de véhicule automobile destinée à être installée dans un véhicule automobile, ledit véhicule comprenant deux sièges (12, 14) installés côte à côte, lesdits sièges présentant une assise (18) et un dossier (16), ladite assise définissant un plan moyen (P), ladite console comprenant un coffre (24) et un couvercle rabattable (26), ledit coffre étant monté mobile entre les assises selon une direction sensiblement normale audit plan moyen (P), ledit coffre (24) présentant en outre un logement interne (36) et une ouverture supérieure (38) débouchant dans ledit logement interne, ladite ouverture supérieure (38) étant susceptible d'être obturée par ledit couvercle rabattable (26) ; caractérisée en ce que ledit couvercle rabattable (26) est monté sur ledit dossier (16) en surplomb dudit plan moyen (P) et libre par rapport audit coffre (24) ; et en ce que ledit coffre (24) est mobile entre une position haute rapprochée dudit couvercle rabattable (26) rabattu dans laquelle ladite ouverture supérieure (38) est obturée et une position basse écartée dudit couvercle rabattable (26) permettant de libérer au moins partiellement ladite ouverture supérieure (38).1.
