Auf diese Weise wird auch die Waschmittelschublade getrocknet und somit in einen dauerhaft gegen die Ausbreitung von Keimen sicheren Zustand versetzt. Der Strahler 3 kann zusätzlich vorteilhaft benutzt werden, um den Sumpfbereich 19 mit der Wärme, die er neben dem Licht erzeugt, zu trocknen. Dadurch wird die Stabilität des Sumpfbereiches 19 gegen die Ausbreitung von Keimen verbessert.
