Abstract

The invention relates to a motor vehicle headlight consisting of a headlight casing containing a bulb (3), a reflector (1) which is equipped with a central hole (5) for mounting the bulb, a light shield (2) comprising a light-shielding part (2a) which surrounds the bulb and which is solidly connected to a support (2b), and a removable electric connection box (4) which can be connected to the bulb in order to connect same to an electric circuit. The invention is characterised in that the light shield support (2b) is equipped with fixing means (9) which are intended to be fixed to the rear part of the reflector and which can co-operate with means (11) for locking the connection box such that the box is maintained rigidly in the connected position.
