Abstract

 非円形な外周形状のアウターケースに取り付けられるジョイントブーツにおいて、アウターケースへの装着性を損なうことなく、軸方向での位置決めを行う。ジョイントブーツ(10)は、大径側取付部(12)と小径側取付部(14)と蛇腹部(16)からなるブーツ本体(18)と、アウターケースと大径側取付部の間に介在するブッシュ(20)とからなる。ブッシュは、外周面が断面円形状をなすとともに、アウターケースに外嵌固定される内周部に複数の凸部(16)が周方向に分散して設けられている。ブッシュの内周面には、アウターケースの外周面に設けられた周方向に延びる溝(54)に嵌合する突起(56)が設けられ、該突起がブッシュの軸方向において大径側取付部による外嵌領域(Q)から外れた位置にある。
