Description

DESCRIPTION DESCRIPTION
The present invention relates to track pads intended for turf, undeveloped land and low compressive strength terrain.
To move with the human forces, more quickly with less effort possible, it is one of the challenges of the human beings. We practice for this challenge as sport or leisure: Skiing, sliding on snowy surfaces thanks to two long boards. Ice skating, sliding on a stretch of ice using shoes with steel blades. Skating with roller skates, sliding on the floor with shoes with wheels. It should be noted that any type of skating is done on a given ground and requires specific equipment. Ski boards require snow, blade skates require an ice surface, and roller skates require a smooth, hard and evenly flat floor.
Starting from these data with the desire to do better, I present this new kind of crawler shoe. In the design of this skate, I aimed at an essential goal, that is: to play on the ratio where the pressure is equal to the ratio of the force on the surface. By increasing the contact area, the pressure is relieved, which gives the possibility of access to low pressure resistance sites. The crawler pad gives us the ability to increase the area of contact with the ground. The desire to be able to do this sport and this hobby in other land by targeting grassy fields, undeveloped trails, beaches and sandy lands. One of the main goals is, to be able to continue the decent on the ski slopes, after having arranged them in turf tracks and that after the disappearance of the snow by using the crawler shoes.
The invention consists of a new kind of skates equipped with caterpillars. The pair shown in Figure 1 and Figure 2 is intended for grass tracks and tracks without ripples.
Figure 1: Represents the right pair of linear track shoe. The shoe (1) is fixed on the support (2) by bolts (10). The support (2) supports pins (6) which are fixed by the bolts (8). The rollers are in pivot connection with these axes. In the middle of each of the rollers there is a groove designed to receive the nipples of the caterpillar (5) to allow positioning and guiding thereof. The support (3) of the rear wheel axle is fixed to the support (2) by bolt (9), it is made to allow the assembly and disassembly of the track. The track (5) consists of a series of pads articulated on each other, on each pad there is a nipple, it is wound on the rollers (4) and is guided by means of the interlocking nipples in the aligned grooves.
Figure 2: Represents the left pair of the track shoe, the same principle as the right one with a difference of the supports (2 ') and (3') and the shoe.
Figure 3: represents another kind of pair of track skates with the front released at an angle called angle of attack. This type of pad is intended for difficult terrain undeveloped.
The difference between this pair and that represented in FIGS. 1 and 2, is in the roll supports (12), the number of rollers and the upper guide roll (1 1) fixed by the bolt (13) on the support (12). ).
