- the invention relates to a degassing gasket intended to be positioned in the bottom of a cap, lid or equivalent. It also relates to the method of manufacturing said degassing gasket.
- Document FR-A-2 259 026 for example describes a degassing gasket in the form of a polytetrafluoroethylene pellet, of constant thickness, applied in the bottom of the plug. To allow the evacuation of gases, the cap is provided with an opening.
- EP-A-0 546 170 discloses a seal consisting of a gas-permeable and liquid-impermeable membrane consisting of the combination of two layers, respectively a layer of a porous hydrophobic polymer and a layer consisting of a textile support, the assembly being sealed at its periphery, directly on the container. Again, the product is in contact with the ambient air. Moreover, the manufacture of the seal and its implementation are particularly complicated.
- the problem to be solved by the invention is to develop a degassing gasket that does not have the disadvantages mentioned above, namely a seal easy to manufacture and therefore inexpensive.
