  • the filter includes an outer zone and an inner zone therein, the zones being separated by a filtration medium adapted to remove free and emulsified water from the fuel pouring from the outer zone into the inner zone. In addition small particulates are removed.
  • the inner zone is provided with an outlet tube which engages an aperture extending through the centre of the mounting block located atop the filter.
  • the fuel treatment device of the invention serves firstly to remove moisture from the fuel and secondly alter the molecular structure of the fuel which promotes more efficient burning thereof.

Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif de traitement de carburant présentant une partie supérieure (10) comprenant une entrée (12) pour le carburant et une sortie (30) dans la partie filtre (16). Une cavité (32) comprenant un aimant permanent (34) est présente entre l'entrée (12) et la sortie (30). La partie filtre (16) comprend une membrane filtrante (36) qui empêche le passage d'eau dans la zone intérieure (20) d'où le carburant sort du dispositif via la sortie (14).
