- a mechanism of this type is described in "The Swiss watch with automatic winding" by B. Humbert, Scriptar editions, Lausanne 1955, on page 85. It is provided with an indicator mounted on friction on a mobile connected to the differential output. The two extreme positions between which the indicator moves are defined by stops. When the indicator arrives at one of the stops, from the upper limit of winding or disarming the mainspring, it remains stationary while the mainspring continues to be armed or disarmed, friction allowing movement cog while the indicator is fixed.
