Abstract

The invention relates to a spinning machine, in which a compacting device (7) is situated downstream from the drafting assembly (1) of said machine. The compacting of a deformed fiber assembly (18) is effected by a flexible apron (8), which comprises a perforation track consisting of essentially circular compacting holes (17). Said apron is guided over a stationary suction opening (16) having, transversal to the running direction of the fiber assembly, a width that is greater than the diameter of the compacting holes. In order to be able to alter the extent to which a compacting device of this type compacts, the invention provides that aprons (8x) are used, which have compacting holes (17x) with a variable transversal extension (dx) or with a variable interspacing (ax). In order to obtain a compacting effect that is less than the highest attainable, aprons (8x) are used that comprise compacting holes (17x) with a greater transversal extension (dx) and/or with a greater interspacing (ax).

Description

STRECKWERK FÜR SPINNMASCHINEN MIT VERDICHTUNGS ORRICHTUNG STRETCHER FOR SPIDERING MACHINES WITH COMPRESSION ORIENTATION
The invention relates to a drafting system for spinning machines with a downstream compression device, in which the compression of a warped fiber structure takes place by means of a flexible belt which has a perforation track made of compression holes and which has a fixed suction opening with a width greater than the diameter of the compression holes, transverse to the direction of travel of the fiber structure is guided, wherein compression holes with different extensions in the direction transverse to its running direction can be provided and wherein the compression of the fiber structure takes place by means of the compression holes having the least transverse extension.
Such a drafting system is known from DE 43 23 472 A1. In this document it is mentioned that the diameter of the compression holes is to be selected depending on the fineness of the fiber structure to be compressed. It is also mentioned that the combination of the fiber structure can be varied by varying the intensity of the suction air flow.
From DE 197 22528 A1 it is also known to provide an apron with compression holes, the extent of which is different in size transversely to its running direction and to the running direction of the fiber structure. Compression holes with a shape deviating from the circular shape have already been disclosed here, that is to say an elongated, round shape.
It is obvious that the degree of compaction of the fiber structure is determined by those holes whose transverse extent is the least and which thus as the compression holes are to be addressed. The holes with a larger transverse extent serve to guide fibers from further into the area of the compression holes causing the actual compression.
The densification of the fiber structure affects several aspects of the spinning process or the yarn produced. A high degree of compaction with regard to the spinning process reduces, among other things, the loss of splitting off edge fibers and thus the flying not only of the ring spinning machine, but also of downstream machines such as the winding machine. When looking at the yarn, a high degree of compression in particular reduces weight loss due to lost edge fibers, increases the tensile strength of the game by evenly integrating core and edge fibers and reduces its hairiness - the yarn appears slimmer. It has been shown that in some cases great weight is attached to one effect, but another is less desirable to the extent given.
It is difficult to influence the compression effect to a certain extent by varying the intensity of the suction air flow, since a change to the same cannot be assigned a defined effect on the compression effect, especially not at all spinning positions. The object of the invention was therefore to specify a possibility with which the compression effect can be defined and influenced in a reproducible manner.
It solves this problem by at least one of the associated or alternative features mentioned in the characterizing part of the main claim.
The transverse extent of the compression holes can thus be increased or decreased and / or their mutual spacing increased or decreased. The contour of the compression holes can be retained, that is, such larger diameters can be used instead of circular compression holes of smaller diameter. But it is also possible to change from circular compression holes to those with an elongated round or oval contour, which lie transversely to the direction of the strap. Elongated round or oval contours have the advantage that they have a smaller cross-sectional area than circular compression holes of the same transverse extent and their air throughput is accordingly lower.
In addition to compression holes with a small transverse extension, straps often have further holes with a larger transverse extension that do not have the extent of the compression determine. To change the compression effect, it is sufficient to change the transverse extent of only the compression holes.
The fact that straps are used with different perforation, which causes a different compression, the degree of compression of a fiber structure of a given fineness can be selected in a defined manner. If, for example, the hairiness causing a 'fluffy feel of a textile fabric (knitted fabric, knitted fabric, fabric) is not to be eliminated to the maximum possible extent, a strap with a perforation which is in itself intended for a coarser fiber structure can be used. This eliminates the possible maximum compression and reduces the degree of compression achieved.
According to the invention, the straps can differ with different perforations in the diameter of the compression holes or in their mutual spacing or in a combination of these possibilities. Thus, a reduction in the degree of compression can be achieved through compression holes with a larger transverse extension or a larger mutual distance or both a larger transverse extension and a larger mutual distance.
Changing the degree of compression by changing the mutual spacing of the compression holes in the direction of the perforation track offers the advantage that, with a reduction in the compression effect, the air consumption also decreases, since the number of compression holes decreases while the diameter remains the same.

Hier abgestreifte Fasern werden in ein Fadenbruchabsaugrohr 15 eingesaugt und abgeführt.1 shows a drafting system 1 for a spinning machine for bundling a fiber structure warped in the drafting system. The drafting system has three pairs of rollers 2, 3 and 4 in the running direction of the fiber structure, 3 upper and lower straps 6, 6 'being assigned to the rollers of the middle pair of rollers. Downstream of the pair of output rollers 4 is a compacting device 7, which comprises a driven lower roller 5 'running through the length of the machine and an upper roller 5' 'pressed by spring force against the lower roller, as well as an endless, flexible strap 8 which wraps around the upper roller also wraps around a suction shoe 9 facing the pair of exit rollers 4, which is connected via a pipe or hose line 10 to a vacuum source, not shown here. The suction shoe 9 is opposed by a cover plate 11 at the bottom. a deflection rail 12 arranged in a cage 13, which brings it close to a scraper ruler 14. Fibers stripped here are sucked into a thread break suction pipe 15 and removed.
The strappy 8 has, in the center around its circumference, one, possibly also two, pearl-string-like perforations of compression holes, through which air is sucked in via a suction opening 16 in the suction shoe 9 during operation of the device.
The starting point is an apron 8, according to FIG. 2, which is provided with compression holes 17 1 of small diameter d and a small mutual distance a 1 for maximum compression of a fiber structure 18 of certain fineness. The diameters and the mutual distances between the compression holes are not shown to scale in the figures of the drawing. The fibers of a fiber bundle 18 supplied by the upstream pair of rollers 4 in width b 1 are essentially - by the air sucked in laterally to the holes 17 1 - to the roughly the diameter d of the compression holes, as indicated by the arrows. The corresponding width b 2 is brought together and fed in this width via the roller pair 575 "to a downstream rotation zone (not shown here). At the outlet of the roller pair 575", no or only a very small spinning triangle is formed with the advantages known for this.
If no such extensive compression of the fiber structure 18 is desired, an apron 8 2 with compression holes 17 2 with a larger diameter d 2 can be used according to FIG. Here, the fiber structure 18 is only brought together essentially to the width b 3 corresponding approximately to the diameter d 2 of the compression holes 17 2 . A slightly larger spinning triangle then appears and the other advantages of compression are not fully achieved. But the yarn produced has the desired higher hairiness.
A reduction in the compression effect can also be achieved in that, according to FIG. 4, an apron 8 3 with an increased mutual spacing a 2 of the compression holes 17 3 is used. A compression by the air sucked into the compression holes 17 3 takes place only at these compression holes. As a result of the longitudinal expansion of the fibers of the fiber structure 18 and the cohesion of the fibers, this compression also has an effect on the region of the fiber structure 18 lying between them with increasing distance from the compression holes 17 3 . It is obvious that this reaching out of the compression over the compression holes 17 3 becomes smaller the greater their mutual distance a 2 becomes.
Im Falle nicht kreisrunder Verdichtungslöcher 174, 175 der Figuren 5 und 8 bezeichnet das Maß d3 bzw. d5 demgemäß deren Quererstreckung.D 1 and d 2 denote the diameters of the (circular) compression holes in the figures. It is understood that the transverse extension of the compression holes in the direction transverse to the running direction of the compression belt 8 and the fiber structure 18 is decisive for the compression effect, which corresponds to their diameter in the case of circular compression holes. In the case of non-circular compression holes 17 4 , 17 5 of FIGS. 5 and 8, the dimension d 3 and d 5 accordingly designate their transverse extent.
Zweckmäßige gegenseitige Abstände a,, a2 der Verdichtungslöcher liegen zwischen 1 ,5 mm und 6 mm.Appropriate diameters d 1 , d 2 for circular compression holes are between 0.5 mm and 1.2 mm and are preferably between 0.7 mm and 1.0 mm. With larger diameters of the compression holes, their mutual distance is usually also increased. However, this is largely due to the larger Diameter balanced, so that the space between the compression holes is only slightly different for the different diameters. Appropriate mutual distances a ,, a 2 of the compression holes are between 1.5 mm and 6 mm.
It is understood that in order to reduce the compression effect, an increase in the transverse extent from d 1 to d 2 and to d 3 of the compression holes 17 x can be combined with an increase in their mutual spacing from a 1 to a 2 , as is the case in the transition from the apron 8 n of Figure 2 for straps 8 3 of Figure 4 is shown.
Another way to reduce the compression effect is to increase only the transverse extent d 3 of the compression holes 17 4 , that is to say their expansion in the direction transverse to the running direction of the strappy 8 4 and the fiber structure according to FIG. 5, but also to slim them down to their cross-sectional area to reduce the air flow.
Wenn bei solchen Riemchen die Verdichtungswirkung vermindert werden soll, genügt es, die Verdichtungslöcher 172 gemäß Figur 7 im Durchmesser zu vergrößern (Riemchen 86) oder gemäß Figur 8 die Quererstreckung dieser Verdichtungslöcher 175 zu erhöhen (Riemchen 87).Compression straps 8 5 according to FIG. 6 are known which, between approximately circular compression holes 17 1 with a small transverse extension d 1, have further oval or elongated round suction holes 19 with a larger transverse extension d 4 , by means of which fibers of the fiber structure that lie far from the perforation track enter the suction area of the Compression holes are sucked 17 times so that they can be included in the compression effect. If the compression effect is to be reduced in such slips, it is sufficient to enlarge the diameter of the compression holes 17 2 according to FIG. 7 (slips 8 6 ) or to increase the transverse extent of these compression holes 17 5 according to FIG. 8 (slips 8 7 ).
The suction holes 19 have no effect on the extent of the compression and can be kept unchanged even with straps 8 S , 8 6 , 8 7 which are varied according to the invention. Of course, however, the suction holes 19 can also be adapted to changed compression holes 17 x with regard to their outline shape and transverse extent.
For the outline shape, in particular of the compression holes 17 x , a large number of embodiments are possible according to FIG. 9, the expedient selection of which depends on the parameters of the fiber structure to be compressed, for example its inlet width b into the compression device 7, the number of fibers in its Cross-section, the stiffness of the fibers, their crimp and the like. In FIG. 9, starting from a dashed, round compression hole in 9a is an elongated round, in 9b an oval, in 9c a triangular, in 9d a square, in 9e an oval with straight edges and in 9f a rectangular compression hole with a larger transverse extension and thus represented a reduced compression effect compared to the exit hole. It goes without saying that further outline shapes can be expedient.
