Abstract

The invention relates to a posterior-type splint for lower limbs which can hold the entire lower limb. According to the invention, the splint comprises two parts, namely the knee splint (1), which extends from the upper part of the thigh to the lower part of the calf, and the foot splint (2) which extends from the lower part of the calf, below the popliteal fossa, to the end of the toes. Moreover, the lower area (A) of the knee splint (1) nests into the upper area (B) of the foot splint (2), while the external area (A) of the knee splint (1) comprises a fixing means (11) that is positioned on top of the corresponding means (12) located on the internal area (B) of the foot splint (2). Furthermore, the plantar face of the foot, or more specifically the heel area, comprises a removable element with flanges (7) which is designed to rest on the ground in order to prevent the rotation of the leg.
