Abstract

Dispositif de contrôle des mouvements d'un pare-choc monté sur une structure d'un véhicule automobile, comprenant au moins un ressort et amortisseur (4) à fluide magnéto-rhéologique d'amortissement commandable électriquement, montés entre le pare-choc (3) et la structure (2), et un moyen de commande (7) soumis à au moins une donnée d'au moins un capteur (9-12) de fonctionnement du véhicule ou d'un organe de ce véhicule et délivrant une consigne électrique audit amortisseur afin de faire varier la viscosité dudit fluide en fonction des variations de ladite donnée de fonctionnement.
