Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a communication line separator, to be installed to a socket on a wall of a residential or business building, capable of providing communication services with maximum efficiency by utilizing a PCB board with preset circuits in order to allow use of maximum capacity of the telephone jacks without installation of additional jacks and to allow easy installation, additional installation, or change of communication lines, and, further, capable of preventing possible data loss through separation of voice lines and high speed data lines.
  • the conventional process for addition of a voice data line in a residential building proceeds in a manner that a new external line is connected to a M. D. E, the wall-type telephone socket plate (cover) connected to a 2-pair or 4-pair communication cable is separated, and then an additional telephone socket for the new line is installed after the corresponding line has been line checked. Since this conventional process for addition of an external line requires professional skill, a common user cannot undertake the installation personally, demanding him additional time and costs.
  • the conventional communication device connection assembly can be classified in general into two classes: the centipede type assembly and the so-called 110 block type assembly.
  • the former being designed to allow one to three external input lines to be inputted into each household, and lined serially to telephone jack of the household, is a means not usable in the future, for it does not comply with the International Communication Standard (T568A).

  • the present invention conceived to solve the above problems, aims to provide a communication line separator, to be connected to a conventional wall type telephone jack, comprising outlets for insertion of modular plugs therein, so that the communication line separator complies with the communication standard, allows a user to easily use the maximum capacity of a line, and overcomes the above technical and economic difficulties.
  • Another objective of the present invention is to overcome the above technical and economic difficulties, to comply with the communication standard, and to allow a user easy use by application of a pr- wired PCB board in modularjack assembly.

Furthermore, since the input modular adaptor 220 is connected to the output module adaptors 230 through the circuit board 240 as described above, an immediate contact can be established by a simple insertion of a modular plug linked to a phone jack for a location of communication into any one of the output modular jacks 230, making an installation, additional installation, or change very easy.
