Abstract

Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung sind Oberfläche von Gegenständen, insbesondere flüssigkeitsaufnehmende Behältnisse mit einer Oberfläche und ein Verfahren zur Herstellung der Oberfläche, die extrem hydrophob ist. Die Erfindung beschreibt insbesondere die hervorragende Verwendung eine solchen extrem hydrophoben Oberfläche im Ausgiessbereich eines flüssigkeitsaufnehmenden Behältnisses, wobei unter Flüssigkeiten auch solche Flüssigkeiten zu verstehen sind, die bereits ein schwerfliessendes Verhalten (wie z.B. Honig) aufweisen, pastös oder thixotrop (z.B. Ketchup, Mayonnaise) sind. Die stark hydrophobe Oberfläche kann auf verschiedenen Werkstoffen wie Metallen, Gläsern, Kunststoffen oder Keramiken ausgebildet sein und ist auch geeignet für Massenware und für beliebige Geometrien. Der Erfindung liegt zunächst die Aufgabenstellung zugrunde, ein vereinfachtes Verfahren zur Erzeugung einer selbstreinigenden, extrem hyrophoben Oberfläche zu entwickeln. Hierbei soll möglichst auch das Ziel erreicht werden, eine reproduzierbare Oberfläche herzustellen, welche aus verschiedenen Materialien ausgebildet sein kann und welche mit Wasser einen Randwinkel von nicht unter 120°, vorzugsweise nicht unter 140° aufweist. Oberfläche, die eine künstliche Oberflächenstruktur aus Erhebungen und Vertiefungen aufweist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Abstand zwischen den Erhebungen geringer ist als 5 νm und mindestens die Erhebungen oberseitig aus einem hydrophoben Material bestehen oder aussenseitig eien hydrophobe Schicht aufweisen.
