MAQUINA PARA LLEVARLO A CABO, Y ENVASE ASI OBTENIDO"MACHINE TO CARRY IT OUT, AND PACK IN THIS WAY "
The present invention relates to a method and an automatic packaging machine for carrying it out, with which self-supporting bottom sheet material containers are formed, while the machine is of the type that is usually used to package all kinds of products in laminar plastic containers, bags type.
A multitude of developments of packaging processes and machines of all types are known in the art that essentially comprise a process by which the advance of the sheet during the forming of the container and its filling is horizontal, while the machines comprise a support medium for the roll of laminar material with which the container to be contained in the product to be packaged is formed, forming means of said laminar material, which allow said sheet to be folded in such a way that it can then be sealed to define the bag, means of dragging the folded sheet material, sealing means that by means of the application of heat cause a seal that welds the sheet material forming the bag, dosing means that once the bag is partially shaped, dosages the mass of product from a hopper that is also part of the equipment into the newly formed bag according to a vol umen or a predetermined weight, and means of closing the bag, cutting it and transporting storage.
Esencialmente todas las máquinas envasadoras comprenden los mismos medios, vale decir que en esencia toda máquina envasadora debe conformar primeramente el envase en el cual seEssentially all packaging machines comprise the same means, that is to say that in essence every packaging machine must first conform the package in which it is
The product to be packaged is to be accommodated, for this purpose it must be folded or made from a sheet material and folded to define said bag, which depending on the type of bag being folded will be different for which these machines usually present what is called a shaping shoulder, which is a piece usually made of sheet metal that faces the sheet material and folds it automatically according to the design requirements of the bag. Once the bag is folded welding devices apply heat on the superimposed sheets by welding the edges, once the bottom and the side edges of said bag are formed the machine automatically proceeds to dose the material that is housed in the bag and once that this process ends a final sealer welds and closes the bag definitively for which depending on the type of product final packaging operations are carried out such as the application of vacuum depending on the product, the bag is closed it is definitely cut off separating it from the rest of the packaging and proceeds to its subsequent processing according to the manufacturing procedure.
Esto trae aparejado una serie de problemas que son solucionados con la máquina de la presente invención, ya que la misma presenta una serie de mejoras que, combinadas, logran el objetivo de que pueda dosificarse elNormally this type of procedures and packaging machines with which they are executed arrange the container vertically, that is to say that the package has its longitudinal geometric axis arranged vertically, and for this the machine must conform the side walls and the bottom, then the dosage is carried out, and then the upper mouth of the same is welded. This brings with it a series of problems that are solved with the machine of the present invention, since it presents a series of improvements that, combined, achieve the objective of dosing the
This brings a series of improvements but the most relevant implies that the access mouth so that the material can be dosed is much larger than in the previous case in which the longitudinal axis is vertical, and this is easily understood since when lying the container and having one of the sides as the access mouth and not one of the ends it is obvious that the length of said side is much greater than that of the end, since most of these containers are essentially rectangular in shape, by which is much easier for the machine to dose and therefore speeds up the packaging process. There are on the market packaging machines that dose the product with the container stopped, that is to say with the longitudinal axis perpendicular to the plane of support of the machine, but to achieve this objective the machines work not vertically but work horizontally, it is say the containers are manufactured or obtained and are moving in the machine horizontally and not vertically as it does in the case of the present invention, so it is easily understood that a machine that works horizontally occupies a huge place, much larger than the one of the machine of the present invention, and that type of manufacturing and dosing of horizontal displacement implies arranging the same means of the machine of the present invention but in a sequential way in a horizontal work axis so that this methodology of packaging implies that the machine is larger and therefore much more expensive, which
The object of the present invention is to define a method and a machine to carry it out by means of which the work is carried out in a vertical and non-horizontal direction, that is to say that the container is shaped and moves from top to bottom in the body of the machine and not from one side to the other, for example from left to right as in the prior art machines, this vertical machine being able to shape the container horizontally to define an important access mouth for the product to dose.
Another important object of the method of the present invention is that the container is first formed by closing the upper end then closing and forming the lower end with the base of support, then one of the lateral edges is formed thus defining a container that has a open side that is filled and then closed said other side portion thus forming the container with its contents.
Summarizing, we can say that the present invention basically consists of a process for simultaneously forming and filling a package, which consists of the following steps: a) producing the folding of the sheet material in a vertical trajectory with which the package is achieved on a
Para ejecutar el procedimiento antes mencionado se propone una máquina envasadora automática de desplazamiento vertical del material laminar para la formación del envase, la cual conforma y dispone el envase durante el proceso de envasamiento con su eje longitudinal substancialmente paralelo al plano de apoyo de la máquina, u ortogonal al eje de desplazamiento vertical del envase, y la misma dispone de medios para soportar un rollo de material laminar, un medio confor- mador que permite plegar dicho material laminar para definirSUBSTITUTE SHEET (RULE 26) Forming shoulder so as to obtain a crease on one of the sides whose section resembles a "W". b) perform a straight but vertical seal, parallel to the longitudinal axis of advance of the material that defines the upper mouth of the container; c) perform a vertical seal, parallel to the longitudinal axis of advance of the curved development material that defines the bottom thereof; d) in a vertical path, make a transverse seal to the sheet folded in step a), defining a straight horizontal seal that forms one of the sides of the container; e) cause a separation of the faces of the bottom of the container through the application of a negative pressure on them; f) dose the material with which the container is filled; g) make a transverse seal to the folded sheet defining a horizontal seal that permanently closes and forms the container; h) produce a cut on the seal defined in step g) separating the container thus formed and filled. In order to execute the aforementioned procedure, an automatic vertical displacement packing machine of the laminar material for the formation of the package is proposed, which forms and disposes the package during the packaging process with its longitudinal axis substantially parallel to the plane of support of the machine, or orthogonal to the axis of vertical displacement of the container, and it has means for supporting a roll of sheet material, a forming means that allows folding said sheet material to define
Para ello dispone de medios que separan estos pliegues complejos que conforman la base del envase, durante el proceso de soldado, y por las particulares características de dicho material laminar se logra conformar un fondo que permite autosostener el envase una vez que el medio está cargado con el material a envasar.SUBSTITUTE SHEET (RULE 26) a substantially rectangular forming container with its support base on one side and an upper end on the other disposed on one of the sides, that is to say with the substantially lying container, heat-welded means of the base and the upper end of the container, Sequential drag means of this already folded sheet material, welding means of one of the side edges of the container (1) and means of welding, cooling and cutting of the remaining side edge. Optionally, the machine will also include means that allow the folds of the base of the container to be separated, since this machine allows, among other types, the manufacture of a container of laminate material but which is self-supporting, that is to say that its base allows the container loaded with The material to be dosed is held vertically on the table of the type called "doy-pack". For this, it has means that separate these complex folds that make up the base of the container, during the welding process, and due to the particular characteristics of said sheet material, a bottom is formed that allows the container to be held once the medium is loaded with The material to be packed.

In order that the method and apparatus of the present invention can be more clearly interpreted, it is convenient to describe the package commonly known in the market by the acronym "I give -pack ".
El sellado es curvo en su parte interior y tiene un lado exterior recto, que define el fondo del mismo. d) Se realiza un primer sellado por calor, recto ySUBSTITUTE SHEET (RULE 26) which increases the capacity of the container while forming a base to keep the container supported on it with its longitudinal axis perpendicular to the base. Said package is illustrated in Figures 4 to 6. It should first be noted that the present invention proposes a method for forming and filling a package comprising the following steps: a) Firstly the machine is loaded with the starting material which is a sheet material , which, from the folding forming means of said material, has a vertical path from top to bottom. With the use of a forming shoulder, the folding of said sheet material is produced in such a way as to obtain a fold in one of the sides whose cross section resembles a "W". That is to say that the material is folded in such a way that two capable overlap and in one of the sides a double fold is formed like the mentioned one and in the other the free edges are superimposed, b) A first seal is made by straight heat but vertical, parallel to the axis of advance of the material. This seal closes one of the ends of the container, the upper one, which defines the mouth of the same, c) A second seal is made by straight and also vertical heat, parallel to the axis of advance of the material, on the side opposite to that of the previous step . In this case, as this seal defines the bottom of the container, the seal is applied to the double fold in "". The seal is curved in its inner part and has a straight outer side, which defines the bottom of it. d) A first heat sealing, straight and
This first straight horizontal seal forms one of the lateral edges of the container, since it should not be forgotten that the container runs in the machine lying down. e) The separation of the faces of the container is caused through the application of a negative pressure on them. This separates the inner faces of the bottom and opens the only side that remains unsealed, which is the upper longitudinal edge of the container in a lying position, to facilitate loading of the container through the dosing tube. f) The material with which the container is filled is dosed. g) A straight and transverse heat seal is made with respect to the advance of the folded sheet defining a straight horizontal seal that permanently closes and forms the container. This last seal defines the final closure of the container, so that it is completely shaped and filled. h) Finally, the last seal defined in step g) is cut, separating in a container thus formed and filling the machine for further processing.
Cabe señalar que se debe adicionar una etapa en la que se punzona el fondo en la zona del pliegue doble de sección enIt should be noted that a stage should be added in which the bottom is punched in the area of the double fold section in
"W" con el objeto de generar el sellado de las caras internas de dicho pliegue (ver detalle de dicho punzonado en la Figura"W" in order to generate the sealing of the internal faces of said fold (see detail of said punching in the Figure
In fact, the material used is a multilayer material that seals only the internal faces of the same one by heat, and the external faces cannot be welded together. It is punched so that in the punched area the heat applied also seals the outer faces of the double fold.
We will now emphasize the machine that by way of example, not limitation, will be illustrated and with which the procedure detailed above can be executed.
The packaging machine of the present invention comprises an L-shaped frame 10, which on its outer side has a pair of supports 11, on which the axis 12 of the roller 13 of the sheet material 14 is mounted, which is to be used for the conformation of the "doy-pack" type container.
The sheet material 14 is deployed from the roller 13 and passes through a tensioning roller system (not shown) until it is fed to the folding shoulder 15. Said folding shoulder 15 has two convergent portions 16, which define in its part half an angular groove 17 that is wider at its base 19 than at vertex 18. Between the portions 16 and the base 19, a guide element 20 of the sheet material 14 is housed in its continuous angular junction. Said guide element is narrowed until under the shoulder 15 it presents a "V" shaped transverse conformation in which a wedge 21 is housed which forms at said angular end a folding means of the continuous angular joint of the sheet material 14 and whose cross section becomes "".
Por debajo de dicho medio soldador 22 y en el lado opuesto de la trayectoria descendente vertical del material laminar 14, es decir aquella cuya sección transversal tiene forma de " " , se encuentra un segundo medio soldador 23Next, and below the shoulder 15, a conventional welding means 22 is provided first for welding the free edges of the sheet material 14 mounted in an adjustable manner with respect to the displacement of the sheet material 14. Below said welding means 22 and on the opposite side of the vertical downward path of the sheet material 14, that is to say that whose cross section is in the form of "", is a second welding means 23
HOJA SUSTITUTORIA (REGLA 26) de tipo convencional que permite realizar el sellado de la base 45 dicho material laminar 14 plegado en forma de " " , con el formato que ilustran las figuras 4 a 6.SUBSTITUTE SHEET (RULE 26) of a conventional type that allows the sealing of the base 45 to be made of said folded sheet material 14 in the form of "", with the format illustrated in Figures 4 to 6.
Here it is possible to clarify that the sheet material used, being a multilayer material, welds the internal faces together. Subsequently, it will be explained how it is achieved that once the container has been formed and the cuts have been produced, the end parts of this portion with a "" shaped cross-section are joined together. Following said welding means 22 and 23; and in alignment with them, there is a traction device 24, which has a pair of jaws 25 and 26, the jaw 26 being mounted on a base that allows its regulation with respect to the jaw fi to 25, whereby it can be adjusted The size of the longitudinal axis of the package illustrated in Figures 4 to 6.
The traction device 24 is mounted vertically movable with respect to the shoulder 15 and welding means 22 and 23, said movement being commanded by conventional transmission means 29.
It is important to note that in order to keep the sheet material 14, once folded as it exits the forming shoulder 15, a vertically arranged guide 30 extending beyond the welding means 22. is provided for one of its edges. Treater 24 is the transverse welding means 31 and 32 which are mounted on e is 33, through heads 34 and 35, reciprocally movable on said e is 33 (see Figure 3).
Los cabezales 34 están vinculados por respectivas bielas mediante cigüeñales (no ilustrado) para su desplazamientoThe heads 34 are linked by respective cranks by crankshafts (not illustrated) for their displacement
HOJA SUSTITUTORIA (REGLA 26) alternativo en los citados ejes 33.SUBSTITUTE SHEET (RULE 26) alternative in the aforementioned axes 33.
The assembly, as shown in Figure 3 (schematically), completes the inclusion of a welding cooling system produced by the welding means 31 and 32 in the sheet material 14, and its subsequent cutting once said material has cooled.
This is achieved through cooling plates 39, which have a width equal to that of the welding means 31 and 32 and are arranged above these and angularly displaced so that the contact edges 40 of said plates 39, can staying in the sealing zone of the sheet material 14 corresponding to the welding means 31 and 32, when these are separated from each other by the actuation of the connecting rod and crankshaft mechanisms, referred to above. Said cooling plates 39 have conventional cooling means and are controlled by conventional systems also for their alternative displacement.
FuncionamientoFor the purpose of producing the cutting of the sheet material, after cooling by the contact edges 40 of the cooling plates 39, a longitudinal groove is extended inside one of said plates that extends along the entire edge of contact 40 and inside it houses a cutting blade, which faces a parallel groove with said longitudinal and coaxial groove therewith to allow partial housing of the blade when it produces the cut of the sheet material 14 welded and cooled by the edges of contact 40. Operation
El material laminar 14 emergente del rodillo 13 se hace circular a través de los rodillos tensores (no ilustrados porThe emerging sheet material 14 of the roller 13 is circulated through the tension rollers (not illustrated by
A continuación se produce el soldado por calor de los bordes libres a través del medio soldador 22, luego de lo cual se produce el soldado de lo que constituye la base 45 del envase ilustrado en la Figura 4.SUBSTITUTE SHEET (RULE 26) it is a conventional mechanism) until it is joined with the shoulder 15, folding the sheet material through the angular groove 17 and on one side facing the free edges of the sheet material beyond the guide 30, while the edge opposite angle of the sheet material 14, initially in the form of "V" by the wedge 21 which is introduced into the narrow part of the guide element 20, forms this joint with a cross-section in the form of "W". The heat welding of the free edges is then produced through the welding means 22, after which the welding of what constitutes the base 45 of the package illustrated in Figure 4 is produced.
A continuación de ello el material laminar que presenta ya la soldadura continua de los bordes libres como así también del borde opuesto con sección transversal en forma de " " , son tomados por el dispositivo de tracción 24, a través de las mordazas 25 y 26, habiéndose ajustado esta última con anterioridad al ancho predeterminado del material laminar 14, al igual que el medio soldador 22.Following this, the sheet material that already has the continuous welding of the free edges as well as the opposite edge with a cross-section in the form of "", are taken by the traction device 24, through the jaws 25 and 26, the latter having been adjusted prior to the predetermined width of the sheet material 14, as well as the welding means 22.
When the sheet material reaches the area of the transverse welding means 31 and 32 (see Figure 3), the clamp 44 is closed on the welded free edges that we will indicate with reference 47 and the clamp 44 on the opposite side on the base edge 45, producing the transverse tension of the container for the correct welding of the welding means 31 and 32 which are activated after said clamp 44 is secured.
Producida la separación de los medios soldadores 31 y 32Then the welding means 31 or 32 are activated which close on the sheet material 14 and produce the first longitudinal closure 48 of the container. Produced the separation of welding means 31 and 32
HOJA SUSTITUTORIA (REGLA 26) se activan las planchas refrigeradoras 39 que producen el enfriamiento de la soldadura transversal 48, con lo cual el envase se encuentra definido por tres lados cerrados del rectángulo ideal que conforma el mismo, produciéndose en ese momento la carga del mismo a través del tubo de carga 49 que se extiende desde un dispositivo dosificador (no ilustrado) hasta la proximidad de los referidos medios soldadores transversales .SUBSTITUTE SHEET (RULE 26) the cooling plates 39 that produce the cooling of the transverse weld 48 are activated, whereby the package is defined by three closed sides of the ideal rectangle that forms the same, at which time the loading thereof is produced through the loading tube 49 extending from a dosing device (not shown) to the proximity of said transverse welding means.
Before filling occurs and in order to give the total capacity of the container as well as to allow for the function of support the conformation of the base 45 of the container, the separation of the inner side walls by means occurs in the vicinity thereof of suction of said walls in opposite form (mechanism not illustrated by being conventional).
Once the container has been filled, the sheet material is displaced by the traction means 24, in such a way as to leave the future transversal sealing zone 50 facing the transverse welding means 31 and 32 and, when the operation thereof described above is repeated. The complete closing of the container and the cutting of the same with respect to the strip of the laminar material takes place being free for its shipment.
I pack" package at the edge 50, in the part that overlaps in the base area 45 that is delimited by the extension of the seal in the material that forms the "" (see Figure 5), requires that said tabs 51 and 52 are sealed to give greater shape and permanence to the base structure 45, a pair of perforations is produced before the action of the second welding means 23
It is expressly stated that the welding means such as the tensile device of the sheet material, the transmission means and the driving means that drive and control the individual actions of each of them and that allow the performance of the process of this invention, have not been described because they are conventional systems.
