The invention concerns in particular a dryer with centrifugal effect for loose products (P), comprising a rotary drum (2) with substantially horizontal axis (XX') in the form of a frustum cone open at its two ends (210, 230), the opening with the smaller diameter called small base (210) enabling the insertion of the products (P) to be dried, while the opening with the larger diameter called large base (230) enables said products to be discharged, the wall (22) of said drum (2) having a series of holes for the liquid to pass through, such as perforations (220) opposite which is mounted a cover (3) for receiving and evacuating the liquid extracted from the mass of products, the opening (210) of smaller diameter communicating with a cylindrical feeder channel (20) wherein penetrate means feeding (7) the products (P), said dryer comprising means guiding the drum (2) in rotation, located exclusively outside the drum (2) at each of its ends.
