Abstract

La présente invention concerne une méthode de traitement de kératoconjonctivite sèche par instillation dans les yeux de gouttes d'une composition contenant un polymère cellulosique cationique. On a découvert que cette composition soulage les symptômes de kératoconjonctivite sèche sans nécessiter la présence d'agents thérapeutiques anioniques. On suppose que cette composition adhère aux endroits secs dans l'oeil et augmente ou favorise la présence de mucine, un lubrifiant connu produit naturellement par les muqueuses de l'oeil.
