Description

STRAHLROHR FÜR HOCHDRUCKREINIGUNGSGERÄTE JET PIPE FOR HIGH PRESSURE CLEANING DEVICES
The invention relates to a jet pipe for high-pressure cleaning devices made of a sprayable plastic, in which a spray nozzle is inserted as an insert at one end.
Such a jet pipe is known from EP 0 456 010 B1. So far, it has been assumed that the spray nozzles of a high-pressure cleaning device are subject to extremely high wear, so that the required material properties can only be achieved by spray nozzles made of metal. In known jet pipes of this type, spray nozzles have therefore been used, which consist of brass or stainless steel, with the result that the production is correspondingly complex and expensive.
It is an object of the invention to design a generic jet pipe in such a way that the production outlay can be reduced.
This object is achieved according to the invention in a jet pipe of the type described in the introduction in that the spray nozzle is made of plastic.
It has surprisingly turned out that it is possible to use spray nozzles made of plastic also in high-pressure cleaning devices and the high load occurring with them, that is to say at pressures of at least 20 bar if these spray nozzles are inserted as an insert into a plastic jet pipe and are at least partially surrounded by the plastic material of the jet pipe.
The embedding is preferably carried out in a so-called two-component spraying process, and it is advantageous if the melting point of the plastic of the spray nozzle is at least as high as that of the plastic material of the steel tube.
In particular, it can be provided that the melting point of the plastic of the spray nozzle is higher than that of the plastic material of the jet pipe. In this case, it is possible to insert the prefabricated spray nozzle into an injection mold and then to encapsulate it with the plastic material of the jet pipe without the risk that the spray nozzle is deformed in an undesirable manner.
In another embodiment, however, it can also be provided that the melting point of the plastic of the spray nozzle is the same as the melting point of the plastic material of the spray lance. In such a method, it is expedient to fill the plastic material on the side facing away from the spray nozzle into the injection mold when spraying the spray tube, so that the plastic material of the spray tube is cooled relative to the insertion side when it reaches the inserted spray nozzle. It has surprisingly been found that in such a method it is possible to embed the plastic spray nozzle in the surrounding plastic material of the jet pipe without the Spray nozzle experiences deformation in its essential inner areas.
The plastic material of the jet pipe can be, for example, polyamide 66 or polypropylene or polybutylene terephthalate. It is advantageous if 10 to 50 percent by volume of glass fiber is added to the plastic of the jet pipe, in particular approximately 30 percent by volume.
The plastic of the spray nozzle can be, for example, polyamide 66 or polyether ether ketone or polybutylene terephthalate.
Here, too, it is advantageous if 10 to 50 percent by volume of glass fiber, particularly 30 percent by volume, is added to the plastic of the spray nozzle.
The following description of a preferred embodiment of the invention serves for a more detailed explanation. The drawing shows a partial longitudinal section through a jet pipe with an embedded plastic spray nozzle.
The jet pipe 1 is an elongated component of conventional type, as is known for example from EP 0 456 010 B1. It consists of a sprayable plastic material and in one end region this plastic material surrounds a spray nozzle 2, which in turn also consists of plastic. This spray nozzle 2 has a narrowing through bore 3, which is connected to a longitudinal bore 4 of the jet pipe 1, and an outlet opening 5, through which the liquid passing through the jet pipe emerges in the desired jet shape.
The spray nozzle 2 is made, for example, of polyamide 66 and can contain a glass fiber content of the order of 30 percent by volume.
