Antecedentes de la invención.Background of the invention.
The use of mixer taps is widespread, and its fundamental technology is well known. It is also generally known how users use this type of faucets. It stands out for being widely used, which is based on the use of a maneuvering lever fixedly linked to the maneuvering rod of the cartridge that contains the hot and cold water mixing mechanism.
According to the technology known so far, the position of this lever, that is to say the zone of evolution of the same, is originally established at the factory and at the time of its installation in the place of use it cannot be modified in any way. Most of the levers that are known in the market evolve within an area that is symmetrically located with respect to the longitudinal axis of the pipe; that is to say, that the extreme positions of evolution of the maneuvering lever are located in places that keep symmetry with respect to the longitudinal axis of the pipe.
Embodiments have also been described in which the operating lever is mounted to evolve act in its maneuver within asymmetric areas with respect to the longitudinal axis of the pipe; that is to say, that the extreme positions of evolution of the maneuver are not located in places that keep symmetry with respect to the longitudinal axis of the pipe.
But in all the known cases, the zone of evolution of the lever of maneuver comes predetermined of origin, according to project, and cannot be modified in any way when the installation of the tap is realized. This entails a significant constitutive limitation of an inconvenience when, due to construction needs, for example in narrow locations, the area of evolution of the operating lever must be adapted to the space available for user operation. Such limitation also becomes an inconvenience in those cases in which said area of evolution is determined for reasons of an ergonomic nature, as is the case, for example, in certain designs of construction elements such as bathtubs, bidets, etc.

Descripción detallada del ejemplo de realización.Detailed description of the embodiment example.
The cartridge holder mechanism multiposition for mixer taps of the invention which as the embodiment described is applicable to taps as partially shown in section in Figure 1 com ¬ light a main body 1 hollow provided with means for anchoring to a support surface which, in order to achieve greater clarity of exposure, have not been represented, and a pipe 2. The main body 1 can adopt any external configuration without affecting the essentiality of the invention. Figure 1 shows how the multi-position cartridge holder mechanism according to the invention comprises a wrapping jacket 3, shown in detail in Figures 5 and 6, in which a mixing cartridge 4 provided with a maneuvering rod 5 to which it is fitted is housed coupled with a maneuvering lever 6 which, like the main body 1, can adopt any suitable configuration without affecting the essence of the invention. The wrapping jacket 3 is arranged with adjustment in the main body 1 in a tubular housing 7 defined by its outer wall 8 shown in detail in Figures 2 and 3.
Figures 5 and 6 show how the wrapping jacket 3 has a generally elongated cylindrical shape open at its upper end 9 and closed at its lower end or bottom 10. The inside of the wrapping jacket 3 configures a tubular housing 11 adapted for receive the cartridge 4 with adjustment as shown in Figure 1. Figures 1, 5 and 6 show that for the positioning of the cartridge 4, the jacket 3 comprises the following elements; at its bottom 10, two holes 12 sized to receive respective positioning extensions 13 of the cartridge 4; in its intermediate portion 14, a perimeter seat 15 on which the body 16 of the cartridge 4 rests; and at its upper end 9 and internally, a threaded thread 17 adapted to receive by threaded a bushing of tighten 18 provided with a threaded thread 19 consistent. With these arrangements, the assembly of the cartridge 4 is carried out in the following way: first, the cartridge 4 is slid into the housing 11 of the jacket 3 and so that the positioning extension 13 of the cartridge 4 is arranged in hole 12 of bottom 10; next, the coupling is screwed onto the clamping bush 18. Figure 1 shows how by means of tubular adapters 20 coaxially arranged with respect to the hot and cold water inlets of the cartridge 4, not shown, it rests on the bottom 10 defining an outlet chamber 21 of mixed water in which it embeds the corresponding outlet of the cartridge 4, not shown. The tubular adapters 20 rest on the bottom 10 of the jacket 3 coaxially with respect to corresponding through holes 22 which, provided with a respective threaded thread 23, are adapted to receive a corresponding fitting 24 threaded to the end of the corresponding water inlet conduction. In this way, the jacket 3 and the cartridge 4 are integral and during the operation of the tap they maintain an equal relative position.
Figure 1 shows as threaded coupling to the clamping sleeve 18, there is a bushing 26 whose purpose is to confer a certain finish on the coupling. of the operating lever 6 with the operating rod 5 of the cartridge A. As is evident, bushing 26 does not affect in any way the essentiality of the invention and can adopt any suitable configuration.
In order to achieve the tightness of the coupling of the enveloping jacket 3 with the main body 1, the jacket 3 has two perimeter grooves 24, shown in Figure 5, distributed to accommodate a respective seal 25 which, as shown in Figure 1, once said coupling is made, they work under compression between the groove 24 itself and the wall 8 of the main body 1.
Figure imgf000014_0001
To fix the position of the envelope jacket 3 with respect to the main body 1, it has in its housing 7 a perimeter projection 29, shown in Figures 2 and 3, on which the bottom 10 of the envelope jacket 3 rests and on which , as shown in Figure 3, there are radially arranged two retention grooves rl, ____ generally equal to U; in addition, at the bottom 10 of the jacket 3 there is a retaining hole 31 provided with a threaded thread 32 positioned in a corresponding position with said retention slots __] _, τ__, that is, once the jacket is arranged 3 in the housing 7 of the main body 1 resting on the perimeter projection 29, the rotation of the jacket 3 around its longitudinal axis allows the threaded retaining hole 31 to be superimposed on one or the other of the retention grooves r__,
Figure imgf000014_0001
Under these conditions, if during the coupling of the jacket 3 with the main body 1 the retaining hole 31 is superimposed on the groove ___ as shown in Figure 1, the positional fixing of the jacket 3 is carried out by threading a clamping screw 33 in the retaining hole 31 through the retaining groove jrl_ which is arranged between the screw 33 itself and the bottom 10. It is understood that if during the coupling of the jacket 3 with the main body 1 the retaining hole 31 is superimposed on the groove ____, the fastening of the jacket 3 is carried out in the same way as described above.
The hydraulic communication between the outlet chamber 21 and the pipe 2 is carried out by a perimeter recess 30 which, as a strip, has the jacket 3 and which, as shown in Figure 5, has its origin in the bottom 10. The perimeter recess 30 is arranged so that, as shown in Figure 1, once the enclosure jacket 3 is coupled with the main body 1, it configures, delimited by the wall 8 of the main body 1, an intermediate chamber 34 that communicates hydraulically with the outlet chamber 21 through two through holes 35 and with spout 2 through a opening 36 that fits into its inner end.
A este respecto cabe indicar que el ejemplo de realización descrito y mostra- do en las Figuras 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 11 y 12 se refiere a un mecanismo portacartuchos multiposicional en el que se preven dos posiciones de trabajo de la camisa envolvente 3 determinadas por la posición de las ranuras de reten¬ ción rjL, y r2.Figure 1 shows how the wrapping jacket 3 fixed in the position determined by the retention groove __1_ is found in the manner as described above, the operating lever 6 fixed to the operating rod 5 of the cartridge 4 can be gradually moved¬ mind, with respect to the tap spout 2, between the two extreme positions, or evolution zone, shown schematically in Figure 11. If during the coupling of the jacket 3 with the main body 1, the position of the first comes determined by the retention groove r_2., the maneuvering lever 6 can be gradually displaced, with respect to the spout 2 that maintains the same relative position, between the extreme positions shown schematically in Figure 12 and which in this embodiment are displaced 45 ° clockwise with respect to the evolution zone shown in Figure 11 which, as stated, is determined by the fixing of the wrapping jacket 3 mediant e slot r_l_. In this way, the multipositional cartridge holder mechanism according to the invention provides an integral solution to the aforementioned drawbacks presented by the known embodiments of single lever taps in which the position of the operating lever 6 is determined in origin. In fact, the multipositional cartridge holder mechanism object of the invention allows to fix the area of evolution of the operating lever 6 at the installation site of the tap adapting in this way to the specific needs of each application case. In this regard, it should be noted that the embodiment described and shown in Figures 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 11 and 12 refers to a multi-position cartridge holder mechanism in which two working positions of the jacket are provided envelope 3 determined by the position of the retention grooves rjL , and r2.
In those cases in which it is necessary to have a greater number of options regarding the positioning of the operating lever 6, Figure 4 shows another arrangement of retention slots indicated with the references rl ', ______ r_3, jr4., R_5 , r_6., r7_ and rñ_, remarking that the grooves rl and r2 'positionally correspond to the grooves _τ__ and r_2 shown in Figure 3. With this new arrangement of retention grooves shown in Figure 4, the options regarding the positioning of the maneuver lever 6 are reflected in Figures 7 to 14. Indeed, if the fastening of the sheath 3 is determined by the groove rl ', the area of evolution of the maneuver lever 6 is the one shown in Figure 11; if the fixing is determined by the groove ______, the evolution zone is the one shown in Figure 12; if the fixation is determined by the groove r3, the evolution zone is the one shown in Figure 13; if the fixing is determined by slot r_4_, the zone of evolution is shown in Figure 14; if the fixation is determined by the slot £ 5., the evolution zone is the one shown in Figure 7; if the fixation is determined by the slot __ \, the evolution zone is the one shown in Figure 8; if the fixation is determined by the slot __! _, the evolution zone is the one shown in Figure 9; and, finally, if the fixing is determined by the groove r8, the evolution zone is the one shown in Figure 10. Thus, the arrangement of retention grooves shown in Figure 4 allows that during the assembly of the tap, the operator can, by fixing the position of the coupling of the jacket 3 with the main body 1, adapt the evolution zone of the operating lever 6 with respect to the position of the pipe 2 to each application case; specifically, the evolution zones of the operating lever 6 provide circumferential angular coverage at 45 ° intervals. It is understood that, other retention groove arrangements will provide the operating lever 6 with angular coverage suitable to the intended purpose, and that the angular intervals corresponding to consecutive positions of the retention grooves may be other than those indicated above. 45 °
