Abstract

Cartridge for mixer tap which has an operating lever 30, mounted on a pivoting ball 27, in which the hermetic closure compression force between the water pipes of the cartridge 9 and the corresponding water pipes of the body 1 of the tap is provided by pipes 33 made from flexible material which form a hermetic seal and which are arranged in reamed-out holes 14, 15 in the passages 11, 12 for the water via the base 10 of the cartridge, and which open towards the outer surface of the base of the cartridge. The pipes 33 project from the reamed-out holes of the cartridge in order to lean against the end 3 of the cavity 2 formed in the body 1 of the tap. The reamed- out hole 14, 15 is also provided with an elastic means 36 for creating the compression force intended for the hermetic seals and for the cartridge. In addition, the hydraulic pressure which prevails in the reamed-out holes exerts a certain degree of force with respect to the lower part of the cartridge against the body of the tap.
