Abstract

Dans un châssis de fauteuil à dossier inclinable (30) raccordé pivotant (48) à l'arrière du cadre (32) du siège, le dossier possède une articulation inférieure d'extension raccordée à un niveau inférieur avec les parties latérales (40) du fauteuil de manière à permettre un abaissement de tout le dossier lorsqu'il est incliné. L'avant du siège (32) est raccordé pivotant (44) au châssis fixe (34, 40) de sorte que le siège bascule vers le bas sans être considérablement surélevé à l'avant. Les déplacements présentent un avantage ergonomique, et de plus, la connexion par pivot (48) entre le siège et le dossier est conçue de façon à contrebalancer le coulissement réciproque entre les surfaces respectives du coussin. Un manque total de connexion entre les parties latérales (36) et la partie supérieure du dossier permet d'envisager de nouvelles possibilités de conception des bras du fauteuil.
