Definitions
- the invention relates to an instantaneous and total opening package for pasty hot-poured products, food or not, and its manufacturing machine.
- the purpose of the packaging according to the invention is in particular to remedy all of these drawbacks.
- said package is folded so that its edges overlap on three successive sides along a width L, preferable ent on either side of a plane of symmetry P, so that it allows its instantaneous and total opening on five of its faces, the 6th being the rest face of the product on its base, in that this opening is carried out by lifting the upper horns and by exerting a simultaneous traction towards the outside in sliding the parts of the upper face, the parts of the front face and those of the rear face which pivot around the lower edges of the packaged product of which five faces are then released.
- REPLACEMENT SHEET According to a second manufacturing mode, the plane P 'in which the edges of said packaging overlap on three successive sides along a width L, is offset with respect to the plane P of normal symmetry.
- the film of material constituting said packaging comprises two cuts made before folding.
- three sides of said overlapping packaging are provided, in parallel and on the opposite front and rear sides and on the top, with a sealer each having a free end in the opposite direction; at the end of folding upon closing, the ends of the seal pullers are overlapped; in that their heat sealing is effected by the calories provided by the hot extruded product in said packaging.
- the manufacturing process comprises:
- At least one means for supplying the packaging material with a thin film At least one means for cutting the film at a predetermined constant length, for feeding, for cutting and for applying sealers;
- the packaging according to the invention is partially preformed before molding the product in a transport vehicle at the various work stations. It comprises several vertical cells open at the bottom, with internal dimensions equal to those of the periphery of the preformed packaging. It is designed to move, under the action of an automatic means of sequential linear movement, on a first slide at the right of each of the machine stations to the unloading station where a lateral transfer means moves it from the station unloading to a return slide on which a linear transfer means moves it to a second lateral transfer station which introduces it under the first preforming station.
- the machine for manufacturing said packages receiving a pasty product by molding comprises:
- - a film tension gallop and two unwinding rollers with a film positioning cell, its cutting shears with its anvil, a film drawing clamp with its movement control means and its clamp support slide, - a punch and its preforming die for packaging and insertion into the shaping cells of the transfer vehicle, said punch with two insertion positions is actuated by a lever and cooperates with a right bender and a left bender and their maneuvering means automatic in the cycle.
- - means for automatic control of the various movements also includes:
- a hopper for receiving the product to be molded in the preformed packaging, a device for volumetric extrusion of the product to be molded in each of the preformed packaging, with its motor block in the cycle,
- an upper transverse folding device of the packaging comprising a rear folder and a front folder each consisting of a horizontal comb provided with as many folding teeth as cells in the transfer vehicles and its means of automatic operation in the cycle;
- a device for folding the upper horns of the packaging during its lateral transfer includes a fixed folder with profiled teeth forming a set of static ramps; folding takes place during the lateral transfer of the vehicle, introducing said horns under said folder towards the return transfer;
- the packaging according to the invention comprises the following folding phases:
- FIG. 1 perspective view, a package according to the invention which has been raised the upper horns to prepare its opening;
- - fig.18 to 23 a second variant of preforming the packaging of fig.5 to 10; - Fig.24 to 29, a third variant of preforming a package whose folding axis is offset relative to the plane of symmetry of the product to be packaged;
- a package according to the invention provided with a heat seal with an opening tab;
- - fig.36 the cutting to be carried out on a packaging with offset axis according to fig.24 to 29;
- FIG. 41 schematically the station for forming and inserting the packaging of a production machine seen in cross section;
- Fig. 42 a sectional view of an extrusion station for the food product to flow into the preformed packaging
- FIG. 44 a schematic perspective view of an upper folding tool for closing the packaging
- Fig. 45 a schematic perspective view of a tool for the flap of the upper horns of the packaging
- FIG. 46 a schematic perspective view of an ejection station for the packaged product.
- the packaging according to the invention preformed for hot pouring of a pasty product before closing is folded so that its edges overlap along a width L on three sides preferably of on either side of a plane of symmetry P.
- This arrangement allows its instantaneous and total opening on five of its faces, the 6th being the rest face of the product on its base as shown in FIGS. 2 to 5.
- This opening is carried out as follows: the upper horns 1, 2 are lifted, which each is taken between the thumb and the index finger of each hand by exerting a simultaneous pull in the direction of the arrows 3 and 4.
- This cube can be a rectangular parallelepiped without changing the folding mode on either side of the plane of symmetry P.
- the opening is shown from above and in fig.4, 5 it is shown from below, downwards to drop the product directly into a plate at the opening of the packaging without fingers coming into contact with the product.
- Figs. 6 to 11 show a preferred example of preforming a cubic package corresponding to the production machine presented from fig. 38.
- phase a the wrapping paper film is folded in a U according to arrow 12.
- phase B a lateral folding of the front and rear faces was carried out according to arrow 13.
- phase c the same folding but on the other side according to arrow 14 and folded the lower horns 15 according to arrow 16.
- the hot pouring of the pasty product according to arrow 17 is carried out at the end of phase c after displacement of the packaging thus preformed at the right of the pasty product extrusion station.
- phase D we bent the 1/2 upper front part according to arrow 18.
- phase e we bent the second 1/2 upper part according to arrow 19 and in phase f we bent the two upper horns 20 , 21 according to arrows 22, 23.
- Phases a to c are obtained by successively lowering a punch into a folding cell.
- Figs. 12 to 17 show a variant of preforming the packaging according to the invention. It differs in its phases c to f in that the lower front and rear horns 15 are only folded in phase f according to the arrow 25.
- FIGS. 18 to 23 show the preforming of a packaging of parallelelepiped shape whose phases a to f are identical to those of the packaging in figs. 12 to 17.
- Figs. 24 to 29 show an example of packaging whose collection tax 28 is offset along a plane P 'relative to the plane P of normal symmetry of the folding in the previous views.
- the folding phases are identical to those of figs. 18 to 23.
- the opening of the packaging is carried out by lateral sliding of the paper on the front / rear and top sides in the same way as shown in fig. 2 to 5.
- a strip 29 has been cut from each of the front and rear sides as shown in FIG. 36 which will be described later. This type of folding is less interesting than the previous ones because it requires the introduction of two cutouts 29 of the paper.
- Figs. 30 to 35 show a package according to the invention provided with a sealer to make it waterproof.
- the calories required for heat sealing are provided by the product itself which is hot poured. Thermosealing makes the packaging waterproof and therefore increases the shelf life of the product.
- Two strip seal 30, 31 are glued flat, as shown in fig. 37, before the first phase of folding.
- the folding and closing phases from a to f are identical to those of the packaging in FIGS. 12 to 17. When the packaging is closed, the two ends 32, 33 can be seen overlapping in phases e and f.
- the opening of this packaging takes place in two successive phases:
- Fig.36 shows the cutouts 29 of the paper of the packaging of fig.24 to 29, as well as the hatched overlap areas of width L, and the position of the different folds in phantom.
- Fig. 37 shows the overlap areas of the packaging in Fig. 6 to
- Fig.38 schematically shows an example of a vehicle 35, of rectangular shape, the underside and the side faces rest on a slide not shown. It comprises five identical cells 36 on which we have grouped together, on a single vehicle, for understanding, the different phases of folding, filling and closing, these phases have been successively numbered as follows at the right of the cells:
- the function of the vehicle 35 is to transfer the preformed packaging to the various stations. To obtain high production rates, the number of stations is multiplied so as to perform the same operation on all the cells of the same vehicle.
