Description

Hydraulischer Hybridantrieb für Kraftfahrzeuge Hydraulic hybrid drive for motor vehicles
The invention relates to a hydraulic hybrid drive or a drive system for motor vehicles. For example, EP 0 044 252 AI shows a drive system with a hydraulic pump. The present invention has set itself the goal of providing a hydraulic hybrid drive for motor vehicles, which provides the electric drive in a city, with very good acceleration and low fuel costs.
The invention is explained below with reference to the drawings.
B. in DE 26 48 958 C2 beschrieben. It is generally assumed that the drive for motor vehicles is known per se, the following being provided here: a pressure oil generator with an internal combustion engine, here for example in the form of a free-piston engine 1, one or more pressure oil reservoirs 2 for absorbing the braking energy and an adjustable hydraulic motor 3 for driving the wheels 10, 11. A free piston engine is, for. B. described in DE 26 48 958 C2. In a unit 1 it combines an internal combustion engine with a hydraulic pump. Instead of the free-piston engine 1 shown in the figure, it is also possible to use a conventional internal combustion engine 1 a with an attached first hydraulic oil pump 1 b.
According to the invention, the motor vehicle is electrically driven by means of a second oil pump 5, which is electrically driven by an electric motor 16 and pumps pressure oil into the hydraulic system 15. The drive is primarily intended for city traffic. Since the vehicle is accelerated with the energy stored in the pressure oil stores 2, a smaller electric motor 16 and a smaller battery 4 are sufficient for driving in the city than is the case with direct drive of the vehicle would be the case by a battery-powered electric motor. The loss of energy due to the hydraulic power transmission is compensated for in city traffic by regenerative braking with storage of the braking energy in the pressure oil reservoirs 2 and their reuse. The electrically driven oil pump 5 can be used to recharge the battery, in which case the oil pump 5 acts as a hydraulic motor and the electric motor 16 as a generator.
The following is also provided: a differential 20, oil lines 21 for connecting the hydraulic motor 3 to the pressure oil reservoirs 2, and an oil tank 22 connected to the hydraulic system 15 and front wheels 26 and 27.
Instead of a currently preferred internal combustion engine (gasoline or diesel engine), another heat engine can be used. For example, a gas turbine, steam engine, steam turbine, or a Stirling engine can be used.
