Abstract

1-Acetyl-(3-o-toluyl)-5-fluorouracil having the following chemical structural formula: (FORMULA) is prepared by reacting 5-fluoro(3-o-toluryl)-uracil with acetic anhydride, or by reacting 1-acetyl-5-fluorouracil with o-toluyl halide. In the production of an oncotic preparation, this compound is dissolved in a material such as a mixed oil of glyceride and lecithin.
