DESIGN FOR A TRADE-MARK.

The Schedule referred to in these Letters Patent and making part of the same.

To all whom it may concern x Be it known that I', GEORGE C. TnILEsIUs, of the city of Cape Girardeau, in the county of Cape Girardean, and State of Missouri, have originated and designed a new Design for a Trade-Mark, of which the following is a full, clear, and exact description, reference being had to the accompanying drawings making part of this specification.

A. circle formed by the words Orleans and Cape Girardeau, Mo., fourteen and a quarter inches in diameter, with half diamond and flourish between them on each side, the Word Orleans being composed of Roman letters two inches in depth, and the words Cape Girardeau, Mo., of the same kind of letters, fifteen-sixteenths of an inch deep, except the O, which is only three-quarters of an inch.

WVithin and at the upper edge of said circle are the figures 196, with flourish on each side. Said iignres are one and a quarter inch deep, under which is the word choiee," composed of Roman letters, one inch deep, under which and across the center of said circle is a triple X, fancy Roman letters, two inches deep, with ball in center of each five-eighths of an inch in diameter; and at the under edge of said circle, and within the same, is the name G. O. Thilenus, com posed of half block letters, fteen-sixteenths of an inch deep, placed in the form of a crescent, pointing upward, said brand or trade-mark being made by means of a stencil.

What I claim as my invention, and desire to secure by Let-ters Patent, is

The design for a trade-mark, herein set forth.
